COMMUNIQUEWHARTON 33 WEST WHARTON 33 WEST May 20-24, 2007 WELCOME CLASS 33 The great adventure begins… Week one is going to be a very busy one for you as you settle into the classroom routine and meet your fellow Class 09 members. This is your first issue of the Communique. The Communique is the communication vehicle I use to share with you relevant information that you will need during your session as well as info regarding upcoming events. Pick it up first thing (in your mail folder) when you arrive because there could be information that you need to be immediately aware of. The Communique as well as the schedule will be posted on WebCafe two days before class begins and of course see me if you have any questions. I am located on the 5th floor mezzanine in room 606. Good luck and enjoy! Juana MAIL FOLDERS So what are Mail Folders? Outside of your classrooms you will see two open file drawers which contain your Mail Folders. This is your Wharton West mailbox. Please check your mail folder 3 times a day as we put items in it throughout the day. NAMEPLATES Please leave the name plate bases in the classrooms and transport your name plate with you as you change classrooms. At the end of the day/session you can store your nameplate in your mail folder. CLASS SCHEDULE Like the Communique, the schedule will be placed in your Mail Folder and on Webcafe. The schedule maps out the session with classes, events, speakers and meals. Your class is divided into two sections. Each term there is movement between the two sections so that you will eventually have classes with all of your classmates. STUDY ROOMS You have been assigned to a study group. Every effort was made to have a good balance in each group. There are 15 study groups with 10 study rooms on the 5th floor and 5 in room 450 on the 4th floor. Each term your study group will rotate to another study room with every group experiencing the various study room locations. In addition, two study rooms are available for your use at Le Meridien Hotel. The keys to the hotel study rooms can be obtained at the front desk. Please see the Resource Guide for additional information. MEALS A continental breakfast and dinner are at Wharton West. Please note that on the first day of a session while the continental breakfast is not served, coffee/tea/juices and cereal are available. 1 COMMUNIQUEWHARTON 33 WEST WHARTON 33 WEST May 20-24, 2007 YOU HAVE QUESTIONS?
