Disjunctive pronouns - eight items - be able to supply the disjunctive pronoun that agrees with the subject(s). E.g., Je vais chez moi. See pages 40-1. (8 points) V. Être - six items - be able write all six forms of this verb, correctly correlated with the corresponding forms of aller. There are six sentences, all of which use a form of the verb aller. You are to rewrite each sentence using the form of être that corresponds in number and person to the form of aller. E.g., if the given sentence is "Tu vas à la piscine," you write "Tu es à la piscine." See page 41-2; review page 21 (aller) (18 points) VI. Plural forms of the definite determiner (definite article) and the possessive determiner (adjective) and plural forms of nouns - four items - be able to write the plural forms of nouns and the plural forms of possessive determiners (mes, tes, ses) or definite article (les). E.g., if you see "Voilà l'hôtel," you write "Voila les hôtels." If you see "Ta nièce est à la plage," you write "Tes nièces sont à la plage." See pages 45-6; review page 27 (12 points) VII. Composition (translation) - be able to write a few simple sentences in French; in other words have a good grasp of all vocabulary in Chapters 1 - 3 and be familiar with the way sentences are constructed. (12 points) Try this one. It is close to the one on the test. "Where is my bathing suit? Over there, on the table. And my shoes? They are under the table with your socks." (Où est mon maillot? Là-bas, sur la table. Et mes chaussures? Elles sont sous la table avec tes chaussettes.)
