All Systems Go! Project
Your task is to create a 3-D model of one of the body systems you have been learning
about in Science: circulatory, respiratory, digestive, or urinary. The purpose of the
project is for you to become an expert about one of the systems in your body that helps
keep you alive. The model must be created by you, not purchased from a store.
All parts of each system must be labeled. Along with the label, you must explain the
function of each part.
Also, you will present your project to the class.
You will be graded using a rubric for the project and a rubric for the presentation, which
will be given to you along with this hand-out. Please keep the rubrics and turn them in
when you turn in your project.
This project is to be done at home. No class time will be given to work on the project.
The project is due Monday, November 4.
You may use your textbook or other sources, such as the Internet. Just make sure you
write the information in your own words.
Checklist:
_____ 3-D Model of the body system
_____ Each part labeled; function of each part explained on label
_____ Explain in writing the job the system does for your body
_____ Information is in my own words, not copied from the sources I used

Model contains all of
the parts of the body
system, clearly and

Model is missing
more than one of the
parts of the body
system and/or the

Size
The size of the
model allows it to be
