Holocaust Collage
Create a collage that represents what you have learned about the Holocaust. This collage
could be an assortment of hand-drawn pictures, photographs taken from the Internet, lines from
Night – anything that captures your feelings about the Holocaust. Include at least 20 images/
phrases, overlapping each to create an artistic image. Create a caption box in which you
identify each image with a brief explanation of how each relates to the Holocaust. Finally, write
a brief explanatory essay (2-3 paragraphs) in which you discuss your feelings and what you
have learned.

Dehumanization is the process by which the Nazis gradually reduced the Jews to little more
than "things" which were a nuisance to them. In five paragraphs, discuss at least three specific
examples of events that occurred which dehumanized Eliezer, his father, or his fellow Jews.
