Each child is rubbing sticks together to start a fire. The children look discontented and bored.
Ms. Gong

She's the one who brought us here.
(Rubbing the stick hard, but needs to go to the bathroom) Hmm....
(So he looks around to make sure no one is in sight.)
# 2.
Forest / Daytime (01’ 10’’)
Jaeseok looks around to make sure no one's around and starts to go pee. Suddenly, he freezes
up. He zips up and turns around... He then runs into Solji who was listening to music on a
blanket, behind the tree. Their eyes meet... Jaeseok and Solji are in such shock, they're at a
loss for words.
Sound effects - The bush shakes with the mysterious noise. Jaeseok and Solji stare at where
the sound is coming from. The trees and bushes shake all around them then stop. Jaeseok
looks down to find Solji pressed closely into him.
Solji
(Scared)What's that? (01’ 40’’)
Jaeseok
(Even more scared, looking at Solji) Oh, god!
Just then, they hear a noise behind some bushes. And Jaeseok slowly takes a step toward the
noise.
Solji
Don't go. (01’ 49’’)

Jaeseok goes around the bush and sees Junhyeon is taking a dump Solji follows Jaeseok and
covers her face in terror.
Solji
Ahh! (02’ 08’’)

Captain Jang
Seashore / Daytime (02’ 14’’)
(In a state of emergency) Ms. Gong, we're in big trouble. (02’ 14’’)
There's a typhoon headed this way!
Ms. Gong
What? The weather report didn't say anything of the sort. (02’ 18’’)
Captain Jang
Oh, the weather reports are always wrong.
Look over there!
Dark clouds and thunder loom in the sky... Moments later there is a loud crash of thunder
(Sound effects) The place is in chaos as everyone screams and runs for cover
Ms. Gong
Oh no! Ahh! It's a typhoon! (02’ 31’’)
Captain Jang
kids, There’s a typhoon headed this way. Come with me! Quickly!
Ms. Gong
Children, remain calm! Grab your bags
and head to the boat calmly!

Near forest entrance by the seashore / Daytime
(02’ 40’’)
After exploring the beach, Jaeseok returns... There's no one in sight. He falls quiet.
Junhyeon
Huh? Isn't that the boat we came on? (02’ 56’’)
Jaeseok
(The ship has sailed far into the distance) I think so.
(Runs into the waters and shouts)
Ms. Gong! Guys!
Solji,Junhyeon

(Runs along side him) Ms. Gong! Guys!

Jaeseok turns on his phone, but it shows that he is out of the service area. Junhyeon and Solji
dig through their bags
Solji
No way... They'll come back, won't they? (03’ 15’’)
And I'm out of sun block! (03’ 20’’)

I'm okay. I have a lot of food left still. (Eating loudly) (03’ 23’)
Seashore 2 / Imagining / Daytime (03’ 32’’)
Jaeseok comes in from the sea. He has a beard now, and a fish on a makeshift spear (Dressed
in outfit from Robinson Crusoe) Solji is sitting under a shade made of leaves
Solji
What took you so long? (03’ 35’’)
Junhyeon
(Eating fish) I'm hungry! Go catch more fish!
I said I'm hungry!

Seashore / Daytime (03’ 50’’)
Jaeseok is set up with a bow string and wood... He works hard to start a fire
Junhyeon
What? I already ate all of it? (He licks his lips… And looks over at Solji’s bag.)
Huh? (04’ 05’’)

Forest / Daytime (04’ 14’’)
Solj comes back from relieving herself in the woods and looks irritated
Solji
Just look at me? Eww! This is gross. (04’ 14’’)
Solji is trying to go when she hears a noise and the woods begin to shake. A little later, another
part of the woods shakes
Solji
Junhyeon? (Stepping closer) (04’ 25’’)
Don't play around like that. Are you pooing again? (04’ 30’’)
(She goes behind the bush, and the woods shakes again)Ah! Ah! (04’ 43’’)

(She screams and runs away)

Near forest entrance by the shore / Daytime
(04’ 46’’)
“Ah!” Solji runs out from the woods screaming. Jaeseok looks at what the commotion's about
while he's trying to start a fire. Solji and Jaeseok stare at each other. Jaeseok turns away and
looks uninterested.
Solji
(Scared and in the area of the shade of leaves) What was it... Uh... (04’ 58’’)
(Looking) Hey, what do you think you’re doing? (05’ 06’’)
Junhyeon
(He picks up Solji's lotion with a fruit label on the front)
I thought it was food. (05’ 08’’)
Solji
You! (Taking it from him) Do you even know how expensive this was?

(Running)
Eww… (Discovers something) What?

Jaeseok is still trying to start a fire. Ah! He is giving it all he's got. A bit of smoke rises. He thinks,
‘Oh! It's working...’ and rubs harder as smoke rises.
Junhyeon
(Running toward with seaweed)Jaeseok! (05’ 32’’)

Huh? (05’ 35’’)
Junhyeon
Jaeseok! I think we can eat this. Ah! (05’ 38’’)
(He falls over and the seaweed lands on Jaeseok's fire starting project)
Jaeseok
Oh, man! (Stares at Junhyeon in dismay and leaves) (05’ 45’’)
Junhyeon
(Gets up) Maybe it's not food? (05’ 53’’)

Seashore, near the shaded area / Daytime (05’ 55’’)
The heat is blazing this afternoon... Jaeseok is far from the shade... He is sitting in the
scorching sun, looking tired and irritated. Solji is underneath the shade, upset over the lotion.
And beside her, Junhyeon is wearing the seaweed on his head, looking very thirsty... "Oh, I'm

so thirsty..."
Solji
(Tired) Jaeseok, do you have anything in your backpack? (06’ 05’’)
(Jaeseok just keeps going) What? Is he ignoring me again? (06’ 15’’)
Jaeseok walks a while and trips over something in the sand. Huh? It's the top of a water bottle.
He digs and finds a water bottle that's still 2/3 full. Jaeseok is about to drink it but looks over at
the guys in the shade. The other two are staring back at him with wide eyes.
Jaeseok hesitates, and just then, Solji and Junhyeon rush him. The two run toward him like he
is prey... Oh dear! And Jaeseok runs away from them instinctually.
Solji
Hey! Hey! You! (06’ 33’’)
Junhyeon
Jaeseok! Give us some water!
Jaeseok continues to run. Solji and Junhyeon catch up to him. It's as if they're playing a game of
tackle football. Jaeseok falls over and drops the water bottle. Oh, yes! Solji thinks, and steps
over Jaeseok to get to the water bottle. The children fight to get a drink of water...
But the water bottle escapes them. They struggle to fight for it but it slips from their hands, goes
up into the air and lands, spilling the bit of water everywhere.
Splash! And just then, Junhyeon runs to the bottle. He tries to drink from the bottle but of course,
there is no water left... Just one drop or two.
Junhyeon
(Upset) Ouch!
Solji
(To Jaeseok)We spilled it because of you! (07’ 26’’)
Jaeseok
(Thinking this is so unbelievable) (07’ 29’’)
This wouldn't have happened if you didn't come after me!
(On the verge of exploding)How did I get stuck with such losers?
Solji
Such losers? (07’ 35’’)
Jaeseok
Like you don't know. (07’ 37’’)
(To Junhyeon) The Conceited Brat and Piggy.
Junhyeon
Don't be like that, Jaeseok. (07’ 43’’)
Are you mad over the water thing?

Insert cut) Class room. He walks toward the other kids, child 1, 2, 3, dripping with sweat as he is
eating cookies. The others avoid him, annoyed. Junhyeon has no idea why they are avoiding
him and continues to scarf down the cookies.
Solji
That's going overboard, don't you think? (08’ 17’’)
Jaeseok
You're the one going overboard. (08’ 19’’)
How can you worry about your stupid sunscreen at a time like this?
You think you're so cute? Well you're not.
Insert cut) Solji is admiring her own reflection in the mirror... Girl 1,2,3 look at her in disgust
(off) You don't lift one finger, acting like you're cute and all. (08’ 28’’)

Solji
I don't care! What about you? (08’ 33’’)

Jaeseok
At least I'm normal, not like you! (08’ 38’’)
Solji

Solji

Solji

Rattle
They turn to the sound coming from deep within the woods. The trees and bushes are shaking.
They look scared. They look toward the sound again and there it goes again! Jaeseok stands,
nervously to go toward the sound. Junhyeon follows.
Junhyeon
I think there's something there. (09’ 16’’)
Junhyeon goes to check out the woods where the noise is coming from. The noise continues,
and a bush trembles. Something starts running after them.
Everyone
Oh! Ah!
The children run away with all their might. Solji falls over.. And Jaeseok looks back thinking of
leaving her behind but... He goes back and helps her up, and helps her run. They almost get the
waters, and finally look back...
Just then, they see a rooster come out from the woods. Cluck cluck cluck!
(Some time later) (10’ 28’’)
The three are sitting somewhat apart. The chicken goes back and forth between them but the
children are in a bad mood. Junhyeon's stomach growls. Jaeseok and Solji look at Junhyeon.
And just then, Solji and Jaeseok's stomachs growl, too. The three look very hungry.
Junhyeon
I'm hungry! (10’ 47’’)
I'd kill for some fried chicken about now.
Solji,Jaeseok
Chicken?
Junhyeon, Solji and Jaeseok turn the gaze to the chicken.
(Time passes) (11’ 00’’)
Jaeseok and Junhyeon try to catch the chicken, but the clever chicken evades them. Solji
shakes her head, and figures she must take matters into her own hands.
Solji
You, stay here. (11’ 30’’)

(Chicken flutters, children cry out)

The class returns to harbor / Daytime (11’ 47’’)
Ms. Gong is at the dock counting the heads of the children
Ms. Gong
20, 21, 22... Huh? Why are there only 22? (11’ 49’’)

(Looking around) Ms. Gong, Jaeseok's not here. (11’ 55’’)
Ms. Gong
(Panicked) What?
Girl1
(To girl 2) Where's the Brat? (11’ 59’’)

They are excited and being to eat. Under the star-studded skies, the children enjoy the chicken...
The chicken is almost all gone...
Solji
(Feeling full) I'm so full. (A bug flies by) Ah! (12’ 26’’)
What am I going to do? I hate bugs! I can't sleep here! (12’ 31’’)
Solji is frightened over a bug, as Jaeseok looks at and shakes his head, reaching for the
chicken leg, just as Junhyeon reaches for it too.
Jaeseok
Oh god. Oh... (12’ 37’’)

Oh... Haha. (He is about to eat it. But looks a little disappointed but...
Then gives Jaeseok the chicken leg.)
You can have it. (12’ 55’’)

Solji

Countryside Farm / Daytime (13’ 51’’)
There's a flag in Ms. Gong’s bag that reads "Shine Elementary School, Grade 3, Class 3. Field
trip to the farms." Children are following the teacher in clusters. Jaeseok and Child 1, 2, and 3
and goofing off. Junhyeon's mouth is filled with bread. Solji is in sunglasses and a hat, worried
about the sun's UV rays. They hear a flutter of wings to find a chicken. They look at each other
and burst into laughter.
# 16.
Countryside road / Daytime – Ending credit (14’ 32’’)
There's music coming from a radio. The children are lined up to board the countryside bus. Ms.
Gong is counting the heads of the children as they board the bus.
Ms. Gong
22, 23, 24, 25. That's everyone. (14’ 35’’)
Okay, let's go! Huh? Wait! Sir, wait for me! (14’ 45’’)
