Number of filing cabinets is not enough. More sensitization on transitioning to universal identifiers to be done before roll-out and implementation. 50 more filing shells will be needed moving forward. Three quotations from local carpenters on constructing the 50 shells need to be shared with John Lagat and team for competitive bidding as soon as possible. N/A The records rooms are 2 in number with Adult and Paediatric patient charts. Records personnel do filing and registration. They are 2 in number. The registration process is manual f The filing system is serialised with charts following each other in ascending order i The building is well secured and there is enough furniture for personnel to use (4 chairs and 1 computer desk). Power is also available though at times there are outages The registration area is partitioned j k L The LAN infrastructure is set up within the records and registration areas. The WWAN is configured m The number of users for access points is >15. This include the following cadre: outreach, records, nurses, and physicians They need additional personnel because when one person goes on leave, there is backlog on filing. With the transitioning, the team will be able to institute an electronic way to help register clients through use of universal identifiers. With the new universal identifier system, terminal filing will be implemented. This will require space since this method is different from the former. Might need fuel for the generator. N/A N/A N/A Two access points need to be mounted in the building.
