Dear Colleagues,
We invite you to participate in the International Youth Conference " Special Features of Migration Policy. Problems
Searches, Solutions" which will be held from 18 to 21 September 2013 at the National Research Tomsk Polytechnic
University, with financial support from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.
Working languages: Russian, English.
Sections:
Section 1. Migration and modern demographic challenges.
Section 2. Migration processes and international relations.
Section 3. Government regulation of human migration.
Section 4. Problems of adaptation of migrants and intercultural interaction.
The preliminary program
September 12 (Wednesday) - Arrival and accommodation of participants.
September 13 (Thursday) - The opening and work of the conference:
09.00 - 10.00 - Registration of conference participants.
10.00 - 13.00 - Plenary meeting, formal opening session of the conference.
13.00 - 14.30 - Lunch.
14.30 - 17.00 - The work of the sections.
September 14 (Friday) - The work of the conference:
10.00 - 11.30 - The work of the sections.
11.30 - 12.00 - Coffee break.
12.00 - 13.30 - The work of the round table "Migration policy in the context of Russian economy modernization."
13.30 - 14.30 - Lunch.
14.30 - 17.00 – Closing of the conference, the official awarding ceremony of the conference.
September 15 (Saturday) - departure of participants.
Conditions of participation
Participation is free of charge. Speakers for the timely preparation and publication of the collection of works must
send articles and filled in application form within 30 June 2012: via e-mail to migration@tpu.ru. The electronic
version of each article should be in a separate file. In the file name, specify surname of first author and the first three
words of the article title.
File 1. Title: SURNAME_APPLICATION.DOC.
File 2. Title: SURNAME _SPECIAL FEATURES OF MIGRATION.DOS.
Submission Guidelines
The structure of the article. The text should be presented in the following order: title, author name and surname,
institution, city, E-mail, text of the article, a list of references.
At the center - the title in capital letters, bold font, 1 interval
At the center -the initials and surname of the author (s),
lowercase letters academic degree and title,
lower case letters - the organization (in full), city (for each co-author - with new-line)
on the next line - e-mail; 1 interval
text of the report by 1 interval
list of references.
Footnotes - the text in square brackets with an indication of the reference list (!): [1, p.23].
Parameters
The texts of articles should be not more than 3 pages. Text Format: Word for Windows-97/2000/XP. Page format:
A4 (210  297 mm).
Page margins Font Size
top - 28 mm,
bottom - 35 mm,
inside - 28 mm,
outside - 28 mm,
edge-to-footer - 28 mm. main (for text) - 12 pt,
support (figure captions, footnotes, etc.) - up to 9 pt.
Spacing between lines - single.
Paragraph indention - 10 mm, the same throughout the text.
Need to do automatic hyphenation: Language. When typing text, note the use of a hyphen (-) and dash (-) (keyboard
shortcut Ctrl + minus on the small keyboard). A dash - long sign with a space (a punctuation mark, to indicate a
pause), it is used as a delimiter in the designation of time limits (eg, March-April, 70-80 years.), Spatial (eg, flight
from Moscow to Khabarovsk) and quantitative - (eg, 300-350 m, 5-7-fold superiority), etc. The hyphen - a short sign
with no spaces (hyphen between words or word hyphen). For example, a Siberian scientist, Ts-diagram, 235, AC2UM. Use an em dash (-) in the text is not allowed.
The formulas should be typed in the equation editor MathType (please adhere to standard program settings
MathType) and are located in the center. The font should correspond to the basic formulas in the text.
Making tables. Tables should be placed in the text after the paragraph containing the reference to them. Between the
header table and the table should be spaced. At the end of the table header point is not raised.

Filling out illustrative material (drawings, diagrams, photos, etc.). The text of the permitted drawings, tables - no
more than 2, in black and white format - jpg, tiff (uncompressed).
All fonts converted to curves illustrations (Convert to Covers). Illustrations should be submitted as separate files,
with file name should indicate the name of the illustrations in the text. Illustrations should be placed as close as
possible to link to it. Illustrations are inserted from the basic graphic formats must have a resolution of 300 dpi.
Illustrations must be clear and have a true scale of the image. Signature of the illustrations are in italics. Font size 12 pt.

The author may not participate in more than two articles, the number of authors should not exceed three.

Responsibility for style and grammar is assigned to the authors. In the case of non-compliance committee may reject
the report.
Within each section will be a competition of scientific reports of students and young scientists. The best papers will
be awarded diplomas.
Conference materials will be displayed at the conference website migration.tpu.ru as an electronic book. The
published collection of papers will be received by accredited participants during the of registration.
Within the conference, the competition of essays on the topic "Migration policies and issues of multiculturalism"
will be held. The competition involved students, graduate students and young scientists (up to 35 years) of all higher
education institutions in Russia and abroad.
For the contest independently written essays on the theme "Migration policy and issues of multiculturalism." The
work carried out by a group of authors are not permitted.
Acceptance of entries is June 1 to August 10, 2012 (inclusive). Works received after the deadline will not be
considered by the competitive commission.
