Welcome to our 30th Annual Racing Expo and our 6th Annual Raleigh Fairgrounds Racers
Reunion. For 30 years we’ve been giving local short track racers a place to buy and sell their
racing parts as well as offered a trade show to learn the latest in racing technology from Racing
Parts and Accessory Distributors. Last year at the auction we had over 1100 lots consigned and
sold. We had nearly 40 vendors in the trade show and the legendary Raleigh Fairgrounds
Speedway race car drivers were in attendance to tell tales of the glory days, sign autographs,
and pose for photos. With the assistance of RacersReunion Radio and Website, Holly Carbs,
and Butlerbuilt Seats, along with a cameo appearance by Chocolate Myers who told a few
stories and actually auctioned off a Dale Earnhardt autographed racing jacket the Racers
Reunion was a huge success again! More of the same is planned for our 2016 event. We invite
you to join us in our third decade of serving short-track racers across the Southeast US
including racers from NC, SC, Virginia, Maryland, Georgia, West Virginia, Indiana, Florida,
and Tennessee.
This show is well respected in racing circles and our event is the longest running annual trade
show and auction in the Southeast United States. This year is the 30th year running and I am
honored and excited that Phillip and Diane Walker will be turning over the management and
operations of The Piedmont Racing Expo to Kenneth and Beth at Funwood Auction! Phillip and
Diane will still be around to help with customer service and day to day activities and
auctioneering!
This racing expo is the perfect place to showcase your products and services to the racing
community. Our racing clientele includes short-track stock car racers, dirt track racers,
vintage/old-timer racers, drag racers, plus muscle car and street rod enthusiasts. We provide a
targeted audience of potential customers for you.

2016- Exhibitor Contract
The Exhibitor listed below (hereinafter referred to as “Exhibitor”) hereby agrees to the following terms and conditions for
the 30th Annual Piedmont Racing Expo & Racers Reunion, (hereinafter referred to as “Event”) as set forth in this contract by Kenneth
Smithey/ Funwood Auction Sales & Trading Post Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “Promoter”) for expo/trade show sponsorship and/or
exhibit space. This contract shall be in effect for the following event(s):
PIEDMONT RACING EXPO & RACERS REUNION, Friday-Saturday, Jan 15-16, 2016
EXPOSITION CENTER, NC STATE FAIRGROUNDS (property owner), Raleigh, NC
SHOW HOURS: 10am--9 PM, Friday, and 8-5 PM, Saturday
CONSIGNMENT CHECK-IN: 10AM-8PM Wednesday, and 8AM – 4PM Thursday
EXHIBITOR SETUP: 12-6PM Thursday, (all trailers and large exhibits should be in on Thursday AM), and 8AM-11AM
Friday for Smaller and more mobile exhibits...trailer exhibits need to be placed on Thursday)

Exhibitor will setup from Noon – 6 PM on Thursday prior to the event (preferred for Bulk Space Exhibitors or those with
trailers or vehicles in their exhibit) or Friday 8AM – 10am on Friday for all others. Teardown will be permitted after 4 PM on
Saturday, unless otherwise designated by the Promoter. Premises must be vacated no later than 9:30 PM on Saturday.
A non-refundable deposit of Fifty Percent (50%) of rental payment and signed contract is required to reserve sponsorship
and exhibit space. When feasible, Exhibitors will have their name(s) appear on pre-auction print and media advertising. Balance is
due before occupying space.
Exhibitor may display and sell new merchandise only, as long as display is within bounds of good taste as determined by the
Promoter. No used merchandise will be allowed in Exhibitor’s rental space. Exhibitor is responsible for any tax, licenses, fees, or
other obligations as required for doing business by state law. Exhibitor is solely responsible for the space assigned. The Promoter nor
the property owner is responsible and will be held harmless from any loss or theft to any person or damages thereto.
Exhibitor will furnish customers with a paid receipt for items or merchandise sold. Customers may be required to present
receipt upon leaving the facility. Please note that the Exhibitor is responsible for advising his customers of such and that purchased
items may not be carried throughout the building. (Early or large purchases should be held by the Exhibitor until customer is ready to
leave the facility)
Promoter has the right to place reasonable restrictions on noise coming from any Exhibitor’s booth or personal conduct of
Exhibitor and/or his employees.

No food/drink concessions may be sold by any Exhibitor. Food and/or drink samples must comply with Property Owner
rules and restrictions (such as size of sample), and must be approved by Promoter.. The property owner has an exclusive food vendor
for all events.
Should said premises be destroyed by fire or the elements, or by any other cause, or in the case of government intervention
or regulation, military activity, strikes, or any other circumstances that should make it impossible for the Promoter to conduct said
Event at the time and place provided, this agreement shall terminate and Exhibitor shall and does hereby waive any claim for damage
or compensation except the Promoter return of the amount paid, after deduction of actual expenses incurred in connection with the
Event and there shall be no further liability on the part either party.
