Joytech-Brand Wii Power Station - recall
Joytech-Brand Wii Power Station, Equipped with Rechargeable LithiumPolymer Batteries, Recalled For Potential Overheating Hazard.
A voluntary safety recall is being issued for all Joytech-brand Wii Power
Station units that utilize rechargeable lithium-polymer batteries. This version of
the Power Station, which is marked "lithium" and is equipped with two lithium
battery packs, is pictured below.
Consumers should stop using this recalled product immediately, and
visit the Power Station Recall Website at www.powerstationrecall.com
for instructions on how to obtain a refund.
Name of Product: Joytech-brand Wii Power Station, equipped with two
lithium-polymer battery packs. Please note that this recall does not apply to
Power Stations equipped with nickel-metal hydride ("NiMH") batteries, which
do not bear the "Lithium" mark.
Distribution: The lithium-model of the Joytech-brand Wii Power Station was
sold throughout the European Union and in the United Arab Emirates from
approximately October 2007 to April 2008.
Hazard: This lithium-polymer battery model of the Power Station has the
potential to overheat, presenting a possible burn or fire hazard to consumers.
Sold at: Various retailers throughout the European Union, from September
2007 to May 2008, at prices ranging from approximately £17.99 to £24.99 in
the United Kingdom, and approximately €39.99 in the European Union.
Manufactured in: China
Remedy: Consumers should stop using the product immediately and contact
the Power Station Recall Center for instructions regarding how to obtain a
refund. Do not contact or return the product to the retailer.

R.E.D. Trace 0.5 Youth Helmets - recall
RECALL NOTICE
R.E.D. PROTECTION TRACE 0.5 YOUTH HELMETS
R.E.D. Protection is conducting a voluntary recall of R.E.D. Trace 0.5 youth
helmets for snowboarding and skiing. These helmets may not comply with the
EN 1077 safety standard for snowsport helmets. Consumers should stop
using these helmets and visit their R.E.D. Protection retailer for a replacement
or refund.
There have been no reports of injuries.
This recall is only for Trace 0.5 helmets sold in the European Union and
surrounding countries from August 2006 until December 2008. The recalled
helmets are in youth sizes S, M, and L, and have various colors and patterns.
No other R.E.D. Protection helmets are being recalled, including Trace adult
helmets and helmets sold outside of Europe.

Lloytron Model B822 Carbon Monoxide Alarm - recall
The following notice has been issued by the distributor:

LLOYTRON MODEL B822 CARBON MONOXIDE ALARM
Recent QC Tests have shown that the above device, from a particular batch,
may not detect, and hence alarm, in the presence of certain concentrations of
Carbon Monoxide.
So as to isolate and resolve this batch problem, please remove the unit from

Aquafresh Milk Teeth Toothpaste - recall

YEARS)

IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO CONSUMERS AND RETAILERS
GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare (GSK) is taking the precautionary
measure of recalling a single batch of its Aquafresh Milk Teeth toothpaste (0-3
years) Batch BN 388G. No other Aquafresh children's or adult toothpastes
are affected.
This follows GSK's discovery that a small number of tubes in this batch
contain varying amounts of a different toothpaste formulation. This formulation
has a strong flavour and is a red/mauve colour unlike Aquafresh Milk Teeth
toothpaste which is white in colour.
The small number of affected tubes of toothpaste may pose a low risk
because the formulation contains herbal ingredients (namely Echinacea,
Chamomile and Myrrh) and the ingredient Linalool, which could cause an
allergic reaction in a very small proportion of children.
WHAT YOU SHOULD DO:
If you have a tube of Aquafresh Milk Teeth toothpaste (0-3 years) in your
home or shop please check for Batch BN 388G. The Batch Code is on the
crimp at the base of the tube and on the end of the carton.
If so, please call the freephone number below and a refund voucher will be
provided.
If the Batch Code of your tube is NOT BN 388G then you do not need to take
any action.

JML Fresh Air Globe - Mains Adaptor Plug - recall

As part of our ongoing Quality Assurance checking procedures we have
identified that some batches of the JML Fresh Air Globe Silver and JML Fresh
Air Globe Pearl have potentially dangerous mains adaptor plugs. Affected
adaptors have an earth pin which is 0.73mm too long and therefore does not
push all the way into the wall socket.
Only batches with the model number FJ22400850A2 on the adaptor are
affected.
The location of the batch number is shown in the diagram below.
If you or someone you know owns a Fresh Air Globe, please:
1. Check the model number of the mains adaptor plug. If it does not match the
model number shown above, your product is not affected by this notice. If the
model number is FJ22400850A2, your adaptor may be affected so please
follow steps 2. and 3. below.
2. Stop using the adaptor immediately.
3. Contact our customer service team on 0800 781 7831 (Monday to Friday
8am to 6pm, excl bank hols), who will then organise a replacement adaptor to
be dispatched. We will enclose with this replacement a pre-paid envelope for
you to return your original adaptor.

Product Recall
Marybake has recalled batches of its yoghurt coated fruit, because the
products contain whey powder and lactose. However, they are not labelled as
being derived from milk. This makes the products a potential health risk for
people with a milk allergy. The Food Standards Agency has issued an Allergy
Alert.
Anyone with a milk allergy is advised not to eat this product.

B&Q have identified a potential safety issue with the Barcelona Wooden
Garden Hammock offered for sale from March 2005 to September 2007.
Please note only the product pictured is at risk. All other garden furniture sold
by B&Q is unaffected.

It has been brought to B&Q's attention that there has been instances where
water damage has caused deterioration of the timber frame. This may cause a
weakness in the wood around the metal socket at the base of the hammock
frame. This may lead to the hammock frame breaking whilst in use, resulting
in injury to the user.
