Course Description
Introduction to the design of experiments and analysis of variance; randomized block, factorial, Latin square
designs, and analysis of covariance
Course Pre-requisite: STAT2118: Regression Analysis
Learning Outcomes:
At the end of the semester you should be able to
--apply experimental design techniques to analyze data
--understand matrix approach to experimental design
--Compare and contrast different designs and conduct ANOVA

Important Notes:

No laptop and no cellular phone are allowed in the classroom.

A grade of Incomplete will only be given to a student who is passing the course and cannot
complete the course due to illness or other well-documented circumstances beyond
his/her control.

Usually, about 15 minutes of extra time will be given for the exams (not for the quizzes).
Hence, try to avoid making any arrangement right after the exam.

Any planned coming late or leaving early to/from the class must be discussed prior to the
planned schedule.

Students should notify faculty during the first week of the semester of their intention to be
absent from class on their day(s) of religious observance.
Make-up Exams:
There will be NO make-up quizzes/exams.
