1.Aeronautics and Astronautics 2.Anthropology 3.Architecture 4.Biological Engineering Division 5.Biology 6.Brain and Cognitive Sciences 7.Chemical Engineering 8.Chemistry 9.Civil and Environmental Engineering 10.Comparative Media Studies 11.Earth,Atmospheric,and Planetary Sciences 12.Economics 13.Electrical Engineering and Computer Science 14.Engineering Systems Division 15.Foreign Languages and Literatures 16.Health Science and Technology 17.History 18.Linguistics and Philosophy 19.Literature 20.Material Science and Technology 21.Mathematics 22.Mechanical Engineering 23.Media Arts and Sciences 24.Music and Theater Arts 25.Nuclear Engineering 26.Ocean Engineering 27.Physics 28.Political Science 29.Science ,Technology and Society 30.Sloan School of Management 31.Urban Studies and Planning 32.Women’s Studies 33.Writing and Humanistic Studies 4.101 Experiencing Architecture Studio Spring 2003 4.125 Architecture Studio: Building in Landscapes Fall 2002 4.143 Immaterial Limits: Process and Duration Fall 2002 4.181 Architectural Design Workshop - Rethinking Office Development Spring 2003 4.181 4.184 Architecture Design Workshop: Researching User Demand for Innovative Offices Fall 2002 Architectural Design Workshops: Computational Design for Housing Spring 2002 4.240J Urban Design Skills: Observing, Interpreting, and Representing the City Fall 2002 4.273 4.285 Introduction to Design Inquiry Fall 2001 Research Topics in Architecture: Citizen-Centered Design of Open Governance Systems Fall 2002 4.297 Special Problems in Architecture Studies Fall 2000 4.341 Introduction to Photography Fall 2002 第 2 页 共 13 页 4.343 Photography and Related Media Fall 2002 4.440 Basic Structural Theory Spring 2003 4.441 Building Technologies II: Building Structural Systems I Spring 2003 4.442 Building Technologies III: Building Structural Systems II Fall 2002 4.462 Building Technologies II: Building Structural Systems I Spring 2003 4.463 Building Technologies III: Building Structural Systems II Fall 2002 4.607 Thinking About Architecture: In History and At Present Fall 2002 4.651 20th Century Art Fall 2002 4.661 Theory and Method in the Study of Architecture and Art Fall 2002 全部院系课程都按编号排列管理。 ) WEEK TOPIC #-LEC# 1-1 2-1 2-2 Introduction: the Aesthetic and Ideological Context for Abstraction following WWII in the United States and Europe The Unconscious made Visible: Matta, Masson, Miro, Calder, Noguchi, Moore; Formalizing the Intuitive: Arshile Gorky, John Graham, and Hans Hofmann "I am Nature:" Jackson Pollock and Lee Krasner. The wave pattern within this zone seems to be generated by a point wave source right on the tip of the wedge. But there is a radian variation of the wave amplitude. At the shadow line, the wave amplitude is as half as that of the incident waves, which is easy to understand by following Huygens' view. o Zone II: Besides these two zones, the incident waves dominate and the effect of the scattered waves is weak but can be observed as the parabola. At the shadow line, parabolas can be seen. This is the proof of our parabolic approximation. Here we present the 12 cases by combining three wedge angles (0, 45 and 90 degree) with four incidence angles (0, 45, 90, 135 degree). For clarity, we also give the top view of some cases (click on T). 0 wedge/0 incidence 45 wedge/0 incidence 90 wedge/0 incidence 0 wedge/45 incidence 45 wedge/45 incidence 90 wedge/45 incidence 0 wedge/90 incidence(T) 45 wedge/90 incidence 90 wedge/90 incidence 0 wedge/135 incidence 45 wedge/135 incidence 90 wedge/135 incidence(T)
