Hip Pocket wants to thank you for your interest in the band. In this Promo Packet, you will find
the following information: this cover letter, a band photo, a brief biography of the band members;
and an always changing song list.
Band Biography: Hip Pocket rose from the ashes of Brass Menagerie, a similar band that
rocked the Mid-Ohio Valley from the mid 1990’s until 2001. Many of the members of Hip Pocket
were also members of Brass Menagerie. New members came on board to replace those exBrass Menagerie members who moved away or had become active in other pursuits. Hip Pocket
is an eight-piece R & B/Rock Band with a 3-piece horn section. The band is a versatile group of
players, with many years of collective experience in the business of making music and
entertaining your clientele. Sporting a deep book of material covering many different genre’s, Hip
Pocket is a great choice for your next event. We have played in a number of special venues and,
of course, are available for dances, parties and Christmas/New Years or other special events.
Hip Pocket looks forward to working for you in your next event.
