Crisis Response
 Participated in the on-call duty schedule as a responder to crisis situations for a duty area of approximately
2900 students
 Provided support and advice to resident advisors during duty-related crisis situations
 Advised senior staff and upper level administrators of crisis situations that occur while on duty
 Responded to students in need and connect them with appropriate resources
 Maintained student safety and confidentiality during various crisis situations
 Trained in conflict mediation through the counseling center
 Addressed student health and wellness concerns and assessed student risk of self harm and/or probability of
attrition from the university
 Met with students exhibiting behaviors typical of depression, suicidal ideation, eating disorders, anxiety
disorders, and Asperger’s Syndrome
