The laboratory portion of General Chemistry is designed to illustrate and compliment the topics discussed in lecture and is a co-requisite of Gen Chem 108. The prerequisites are successful completion (a grade of “D” or better) of both Gen Chem 107 and 109. Attendance is mandatory. Lab reports must be stapled and are due at the beginning of the next lab recitation. Five points per day will be deducted for late reports. Grading: Lab reports: 34 %. 3 Exams: 66%.
