Movaris
San Jose, CA
VP Marketing
1999–2002
Movaris is an enterprise software provider. Hired as the fifth employee and performed multiple company roles:
marketing, product management, public relations, webmaster, technical support, and technical documentation.
Spearheaded the rebranding of the company (previously known as End The PaperChase and paper2net.com) to a
more professional image by renaming the company to Movaris. Revitalized corporate identity materials (web site,
collateral, business cards, letterhead, presentation templates, etc.). Directed a team of product managers, userinterface designers, and technical pubs.
As part of a small startup team I was also actively involved with sales calls, customer relations, product development,
and quality assurance activities. My strong technical and analytical skills were utilized to deploy customer-specific
business process solutions by working closely with customers on site, determining their specific needs, and then
personally developing customized solutions utilizing a combination of Movaris tools and JavaScript programming
within Adobe Acrobat.
