Sip Into Fall at the Duckhorn Wine Dinner on September 10
Santa Rosa Beach, Fla. (August 25, 2014) – Vue on 30a and executive chef, Giovanni Filippone invite
guests and visitors alike to Sip Into Fall at the upcoming Duckhorn Wine Dinner on Wednesday,
September 10 at 5:45 p.m.
The restaurant’s celebrity chef, Giovanni Filippone has designed a delicious multi-course dinner menu
infused with colors and tastes that showcase the beautiful fall season. The dinner will be paired wines
from Duckhorn Vineyards – named “Winemaker of the Year” by San Francisco Chronicle in additional to
several of their wines making “Top 100 Wines” and more .
Duckhorn Wine, a boutique winery set in St. Helena, California has created world-class wines from
exceptional vineyards for more than three decades. With an artisan approach to winemaking, Duckhorn
Vineyards continues to craft tradition and quality, most notably, the Duckhorn Merlot.
Wine dinner menu and pairings include the following:
Course One
Tuna Poke, Tuna in an Orange Ponzu Sauce Served on a Bed of Jicama
Paired with Duckhorn Sauvignon Blanc
Course Two
Shrimp Gorgonzola Shrimp Sautéed with Garlic and White Wine and Finished with a
Creamy Gorgonzola Sauce
Paired with Migration Chardonnay
Course Three
Grilled Vegetable Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette
Paired with Decoy Cabernet Sauvignon
Course Four
Wagyu New York Strip Grilled and Sliced Wagyu New York Strip in a Duckhorn
Hollandaise Sauce Served with Fingerling Mashed Potatoes and the Vegetable of the
Day
Paired with Duckhorn Merlot
Course Five
Fresh Berries Sabayon
Paired with Paraduxx
