Four Seasons Civic League Charter Our Vision: To be a positive influence in facilitating the planned growth and development of El Dorado Hills through our understanding of the forces that will impact El Dorado Hills. Our Goal: To contribute to the planning that helps make El Dorado Hills a leading California community where growth and the quality of life of its residents are mutually supportive. Our Mission: To increase our awareness and knowledge of local, political and civic developments that will have an impact on Four Seasons and the EDH community. Our members will research items of interest, attend community meetings, contact elected officials and report their findings to the group for discussion. The club will be open to all members of Fours Seasons and will meet bi-monthly or as needed. The Four Seasons Civic League will consist of a chairperson, secretary, communications liaison, focus leaders and as many members who wish to attend. The first elections will be held at the third meeting: Three members who are not candidates for office will conduct the election and publish the results. A person who has attended for three meetings and registers to be a member can vote. The Chairperson will be elected by simple majority and will serve for a period of 2 years and can be reelected. The Secretary& Communications Liaison will be elected by simple majority and will serve for a period of two years and can be reelected. The secretary will take the minutes and construct an action plan .The Communications Liaison will assist in the drafting of correspondence. Focus area leaders will have the responsibility of gathering specific information determined by the club and will include information from: 1. Local newspapers, web sties such as the Departments of El Dorado County www.co.el-dorado.ca.us/) 2.Transportation issues, specifically White Rock Road, The JPA and mining companies on White Rock. 3.The meetings of the El Dorado Hills Community Council and the Area Planning Advisory Committee. Voting membership on these board would be helpful. 4. The meetings and the web sites of the El Dorado Hills Civic groups such as The El Dorado Hills Citizens Alliance, The Bass Lake Association and others. 5. The working of the El Dorado County Board of Supervisors and the supervisors of District 1 & 2, as well as the activities of the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors and the Folsom City Council, where their activities affect Four Seasons Civic League will use the following e-mail address for correspondence; 4scivicleague@sbcglobal.net
