COURSE OBJECTIVES: To help participants



Create a strong foundation of knowledge in financial reporting – terminology, uses and
limitations.
Develop the ability to identify business issues and to analyze information to reach a reasoned
conclusion.
Become effective users of financial statements and other financial information.
CLASS ASSIGNMENTS
This course will utilize lectures, cases and problems in class to develop a solid foundation of knowledge
for continuous learning. Participation and interaction are necessary to address structured, but challenging,
cases and problems.
