C+P is displaying smart furnishing ideas, the most
exclusive locker in the world, and a revolutionary
innovation in climate control
At the FIBO premiere in Cologne C+P is pulling out all the stops. Among other
things, the furnishing expert is presenting the most exclusive locker in the
world. It could become the new standard for demanding professional athletes.
At the University of Oregon (UO)/USA, not only the Dalai Lama is doing the honors
himself this year. The German manufacturer C+P Moebelsysteme will also be on the
ground to install V.I.P. lockers the world has never seen before. The UO managers were
already impressed by C+P the first time they saw the company's products. Then they
presented their architect's locker concept for their football team – and were amazed by
the flexibility of German steel furniture market leader. The result: a tailor-made highend solution for top athletes.
To start with, the "Oregon locker", which will be on display at FIBO 2013, features an
impressive size – after all, a football player has to store all his gear there. Thanks to
special drawer systems, helmets and shoulder pads move forward smoothly so that they
can be stored and removed easily. Integrated bench, lighting, wireless charging module
for smartphones – this locker was designed with really every possible feature. Last but
not least, customization through imprinting and designed louvers in the fronts ensure
optimum functionality and a unique appearance. At C+P they are sure: this locker
concept will find many fans in Europe as well!
Keys were yesterday
C+P is known for elegant integration of modern technology in attractive furniture – as
well as in its locking systems: The latest offline and online locking systems in lockers
and assembled box lockers decisively increase safety and comfort: The authorized user
is identified by non-contact transponders or only by his own PIN code. Lost keys and
unnoticed theft are a thing of the past. The online locking system can be integrated into
the complete building automation system and controlled via Wi-Fi also by smartphone
or tablet PC. All of this underscores C+P's commitment as the technology leader in
furnishing – in the changing room as well as in the office or conference room.

Changing room 2.0: With seat heating and wireless smartphone charging
But that's not all: Integrated wireless charging modules in "Qi" standard enable
smartphone charging in the Prefino locker system and across the booth. Incidentally,
C+P was the first European manufacturer to integrate this standard into series
furniture. And finally seat heating integrated in the locker, its elegant doors and their
exclusive varnish in the BMW automobile color "Frozen Bronze Metallic" leave no doubt
that these furnishings are designed by experienced pros.
Revolutionary innovation in the fitness industry: the MONOTOP climate wall
A revolutionary innovation has been achieved with this wall. In cooperation with the
Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics, C+P is presenting at FIBO in Cologne the first
partition system with a "cooling fountain" – in short: the MONOTOP climate wall. It
enables totally novel, clean, energy-saving and healthy cooling also in workout areas.
All the disadvantages of conventional cooling are eliminated by air-circulating climate
control units or cooling ceilings. At the same time, the MONOTOP climate wall is quite
eye-catching and enhances the room thanks to its design and functionality.
