MTH 124 WileyPlus Registration and Information
READ AND FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY!
1. The following two pages are a flyer from WileyPlus that describe the registration process.
2. The classlists (as of Monday, Jan 17) for each section have already been uploaded into the system. When you
register, you should use your name as you are registered at MSU and your MSU email address. If you have not
already registered in WileyPlus, you should use the default password “password”. (You should then edit your
profile to change this password.)
3. Any registrations that do not use accurate names and emails will be deactivated. (If you have already registered
with incorrect information, you should edit your profile to correct this.)
4. Students who were registered in WileyPlus for MTH 124 last semester do not need a new registration code. All
other students will need to purchase a registration code for this semester.
5. Any difficulties with registration should be addressed to the Tech Support at WileyPlus. If you have changed
sections or added the course since Monday, Jan 17, contact your Instructor.
6. Once you are registered in WileyPlus, you can begin working on practice and assignments. There will be two
types of assignments:
a. Homework: These are for practice and will not count towards your course grade. These are based on
the syllabus problems found in the textbook.
b. Quiz: These count towards your grade and will be assigned as shown in the syllabus. Quiz problems will
be similar to homework problems. Each quiz will cover the sections listed in the syllabus that are to be
covered in class since the last quiz or exam. Each quiz will open 48 hours before the due date as listed in
the syllabus.
7. When answering problems in WileyPlus, always “submit” your answer. Otherwise your answer will not be
recorded.
8. In order to work in WileyPlus, your computer system needs to be set so that pop-ups are enabled.
9. Currently, Assignment Zero is available. This should be used to become acquainted with WileyPlus.

You will need a registration code to access WileyPLUS. It’s your choice to buy it with or
without the printed text:
 Use the online version of your text in WileyPLUS, go to: www.wileyplus.com/buy and
save!
 Buy the new, printed text in the bookstore and a WileyPLUS access code will be
included. DO NOT THROW THIS AWAY!
Note: If you purchase a used book you’ll still need to buy a WileyPLUS code. The above options are the most cost
efficient.
