Competitive contracting proposals; solicitation process; and WHEREAS, three Emergency Medical Services proposals were received from Hackensack University Medical Center, Holy Name Hospital and FUCHS E.M.S; and WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council, upon recommendation of a committee consisting of the City Manager, the City Attorney and the Purchasing Agent, are desirous of awarding the contract to Hackensack University Medical Center, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Hackensack University Medical Center be awarded the contract to supply daytime ambulance services to the City of Hackensack; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council authorize the City Manager to execute a contract with Hackensack University Medical $1,317.00 Center, to perform the afore-described services in accordance with the proposal submitted; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk publish a Notice of this action once in The Record, and upon execution, retain a copy of the contract for public inspection.
