World History Resource Library
The World History Center works to acquire textbooks on world history from publishers.
These textbooks range from survey style textbooks to textbooks devoted to a particular
issue/country within a global context. The intended collection of textbooks is meant to be
a resource for instructors at the middle school, high school, and college levels. It is the
intent of the World History Center to encourage research and teaching of world history
by providing instructors with curriculum materials. Currently, the Center has collected
over two hundred items from publishers including texts and supplementary resources,
such as workbooks, lesson guides, and electronic resources.
The World History Resource Library can be found at 3900 Posvar Hall at the University
of Pittsburgh. To gain access to the library or for general inquiries, please call Ms. Katie
Jones at 412-624-3073 or e-mail at joneskh@pitt.edu.
