ability of our associates to seek ethics advice, reveal conflicts of interest, or to speak up when they see
questionable behavior. To encourage this type of interaction with our associates, we must maintain the
trust of our associates not only by protecting the information they provide, but also restricting the use or
disclosure of the information.
This privacy policy applies to associates, suppliers, and others who provide information through
walmartethics.com, the ethics helpline, and ethics@wal-mart.com. This policy describes the collection,
use, and sharing of information provided and explains the choices you have with respect to your
information. If you have any questions about this privacy policy, please feel free to contact us as
described in the "Contact Us" section below.
Information Collection:
We collect information about you directly from you and automatically through your interaction with the
site. We may also collect information from third parties, such as from other associates who report ethics
concerns.
Information Collected from You
We collect information from you when you visit walmartethics.com, call the ethics helpline at 1-800-WMETHIC, or send an email to ethics@walmart.com. For example:

The information we collect may include: name, title, email address, phone number, information about your
concern, stock ownership, or other information you may provide. You may elect to submit your concern
anonymously or you may choose to identify yourself.
Information Collected Automatically:
We also collect information from you automatically. This information does not identify you personally. For
example, we may collect IP address, browser or operating system information, and referring website in
order to ensure proper operation of the site.
We may use cookies and web beacons to recognize you as you return to our website and to help improve
our site design. A cookie is a small text file that a website may save to your browser and store on your
hard drive. A web beacon is a small picture that is embedded in a web page to indicate whether a user
has visited that particular page.

Access to Your Information:
Once you have submitted an ethics concern, you will be provided with a case number and PIN. You will
be able to update the information you have provided by calling the ethics helpline at 1-800-WM-ETHIC or
sending an email to ethics@wal-mart.com and providing the case number and PIN.
You may update your request for Retail Link access by providing additional information to the Global
Ethics Office via email at ethics@wal-mart.com.
Security of Information:
The security of your information is important to us. We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and
physical safeguards to help protect your information. We will protect the confidentiality of your
information, prohibit its unlawful disclosure, and limit access to authorized personnel only.
When you provide your information through walmartethics.com, we use a technology called Secure
Sockets Layer (SSL), which is supported by most browsers. SSL protects your personal information
during transport across the Internet. When you enter the walmartethics.com website, an image of a
closed lock or a solid key should appear in the bottom bar of your browser window on any page that could
contain personal information. If you click on this image, a small pop-up window displaying website
security information will appear.
Communicating Policy Changes:
We may make changes to our privacy policy. Please periodically check this policy for changes. In
addition, if we make any significant changes to this policy, we will provide appropriate notice.
