T hroughout the Bible, when God’s people faced the most difficult obstacles, challenges, or enemies, his instructions were simple:  “Stand.”  Over and over God promises our deliverance, and all we need to do is to get in position to see him to work a miracle.  

At this year’s Ascend Conference we know that the key to our victory is to put ourselves in relationship with the one who can change everything.

What do you need to stand for this year?  What challenges are you facing that only God can overcome?  Join us, as together we discover when, where, and how we can position ourselves to triumph in our personal lives, our relationships, our career, and our calling.  

There’s an old saying: “If you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything.”

SUSAN WEHBA and her husband of 45 years, C. Frederick Wehba, moved to Beverly Hills, CA from Dallas, Texas in 1989. They have four wonderful sons and five amazing grandchildren. Since their marriage they have dedicated their philanthropic efforts to the cause of Christ.

They have planted churches including In Christ Church and Westside

Shepherd of the Hills as well as assisting other church plants and ministries. They are deacons of Bel Air Presbyterian Church. Susan has served on several charity and church boards including

In Christ Church, Associates for Breast Cancer Studies, Sonance, and

Young Musicians Foundation. They are also supporters of many other ministries and charities including InTouch Ministries, the Southern

Baptist Mission Board, Childhelp and St. Jude. Susan’s background is in Interior Design. She is an event planner, fundraising host, and small group leader.

ASCEND 2015 - Are you ready to stand?

The Ascend Women’s Conference is an independently produced event not associated with any one church, group, or association.

It is produced by women for women to inspire, educate, and propel women to make positive changes in their personal lives, their families’ lives, and in their careers. It is designed to inspire all women to grow in their faith in God.

Co-Directors of the conference include a veteran group of women dedicated to helping other women achieve the kind of life change that can only come from a deeper relationship with God.

KATHLEEN COOKE is an actress, businesswoman, writer, speaker, and a founding partner (with husband, Phil Cooke) at

Cooke Pictures (cookepictures.com). and  The Influence Lab 

(influencelab.com) in Burbank CA. She edits the monthly  Influence

Women Newsletter, influencelab.com/women, and weekly blog: kathleencooke.com and is a column regular for WHOA Magazine, whoawomen.com. On the boards for Hollywood Connect,

Hollywood Prayer Network, and the National Salvation Army, she travels internationally speaking on faith, media, leadership, and culture.  Her passion is to see women flourish and find significance beginning with a vibrant relationship with God.

BRENDA EPPERSON-MOORE is no stranger to television.

As an actress, she is known by audiences internationally for her portrayal of Ashley Abbott on the CBS daytime drama The Young

and The Restless for eight years. You may have seen her recent

Spring 2015 appearance on the CBN 700 club where she shared her testimony and upcoming book series. As and accomplished singer song writer and a signed Sony Tri/Star musical artist she toured with Lionel Richie as his opening art.

She recently released her new single contributing author to the book,

I Cry Freedom. She works regularly as a TV on air host, a woman’s speaker and is a

Blessedness of Brokenness, on how God looks at our brokenness and sees beauty.

Brenda currently blogs for MICI (Made in Christ’s Image). 

Married to the love of her life, she has three daughters but her life is fueled by her passion for God. She graciously gives of her time and talent to nonprofit businesses, charities and churches and her recent fundraising efforts have focused on abandoned young women with Mercy Ministries.  She has lead worship, served on the board of W.C.I.G., ICAN, ILP and has lead a flourishing women’s Bible study for five years at the Bel Air

Presbyterian Church. Brenda believes that nothing is impossible with God.

EXHIBIT BOOTH

The exhibit area is located in a separate inside area adjacent to the main auditorium and connected with the lunch area and plaza. An 8ft table, tablecloth,  and two chairs will be provided.  There is limited power and you should supply your own internet access if needed. You may begin setting up as early as 6:30am on Saturday morning with your booth completed by 7:30am.

Please have your booth torn down by 5pm. Please dispose of all your trash and media materials leaving your booth area clean and as you found it.
