Liability
The renter is responsible for inspecting the
equipment and seeing that it is complete
and in safe & satisfactory condition.
Renters use all equipment at their own risk
and have had the opportunity to ask
questions regarding the inherent risks
involved in using the rental equipment.
Plastic Sea-Kayaks
 Only available to the APU community.
 Must have taken an Intro to Sea-Kayak
Class or have OP Manager’s approval.

A $10 cleaning fee will be assessed for
equipment returned dirty or wet (dry
space is available upon request).

Rental Deposits
APU student, staff, faculty, or alumni may
rent equipment without a deposit.
General Public (this includes UAA
students) may rent equipment with a valid
ID and credit card number on file.

Late, Lost, Dirty, or Damaged Equipment
A late fee of the daily rental rate will
be assessed on a daily basis to each
item that is not returned.
*Fat Bike Reservations
100% of the rental fee for deposit to
hold your reservation with credit
card. Non-refundable if cancelation
notice is less than 48hrs in advance.
