Honoring the 100th anniversary of Merton’s birth, this
evening showing of the DVD Soul Searching: The Journey
of Thomas Merton will be followed by time for dialogue
with other Merton scholars, enthusiasts and admirers.
Beth O’Brien is an Oblate of Holy Wisdom
Monastery and a member of Sunday
Assembly. Additionally, she serves as a
spiritual guide and meditation teacher
(Centering Prayer). As a Christian
contemplative, her interests include the mystical tradition
at the heart of the world’s major religions, interfaith
dialogue, and carrying compassion out into the world.
