4. First Aid Measures
Note: In case of eye contact, rinse with clean, running water and seek medical attention, If swallowed, consult a doctor
immediately. Keep victim calm. Do not induce vomiting. Drink water with activated carbon.

Person-related safety measures: Keep away from sources of ignition, ensure free circulation of air.
Environmental protection measures: Do not allow to escape into the sewage system.
Procedure for cleaning / adsorption: Confine leaked material with fire-proof absorbent agent, e. g. sand, soil, diatomite,
vermiculite and collect in the containers provided for removal according to local regulations.
7. Handling and Storage
Avoid exceeding the MAK limit values and keep the product stored in the original drums at all times.
Fire and explosion protection: Keep away from sources of ignition – no smoking. Take measures to prevent electrostatic
charging.
Storage: Keep it away from direct sunlight and other sources of heat and ignition.
Store it in firmly-sealed, cool, dry drums.
Storage rooms and containers: Comply with the laws and regulations governing the storage and use of materials which
are hazardous to water.
Instructions on storing materials together:
Comply with the instructions in the Flammable Liquids Decree (VbF), keep the containers firmly sealed, store it in firmlysealed, cool, dry drums. Comply with the VbF regulations and the TRbF technical rules associated with it.

Personal protective equipment:
General protective and sanitary measures: Wash hands before breaks and at the end of work. Avoid touching the
eyes and skin. Do not inhale vapors. Remove soiled, saturated clothing immediately. Keep away from beverages, food
and animal feed.
Breathing protection: Breathing protection required when ventilation/evacuation is inadequate
Hand protection: Protective gloves made from butyl or fluorine rubber (Viton) which can resist solvents
Eye protection: Airtight protective goggles
Body protection: Standard protective work clothing, chemical-resistant safety shoes or boots. If skin contact is likely
to occur, wear protective clothing that is impermeable for this solution.

10. Stability and Reactivity
When the recommended regulations on storage and handling are applied, no dangerous decomposition products can
be produced.
11. Information on Toxicology
Slightly irritating, has an astringent effect on the skin. Vapors in high concentrations can cause drowsiness.
12. Information on Ecology
The product is slightly hazardous to waters - Water hazard class 1. Due to the rapid evaporation from the solution and
from water surfaces, the product does not represent a significant threat to aquatic life. Must not enter the ground water,
bodies of water or the sewage system.
13. Instruction for Disposal
Must not be disposed of with the household garbage. Do not allow to escape into the sewage system. If possible, take to
recycling. Otherwise, burn or dump at an approved facility. Since January 1, 1999, most waste code numbers relate to application as well as the product. The waste code number valid for this application is listed in the European Waste Catalogue.
Dispose of uncleaned packaging in accordance with official regulations.
