_General Information & Rental Terms
SERVING AS A RENTAL RESOURCE
For food service & hospitality industries, photo & film
studios, civic & religious organizations, as well as
companies and individuals.
PLACING AN ORDER
All items must be reserved with a credit card or
prepaid to assure availability. Due to the technical
nature of our equipment all orders should be placed
by phone.
RENTAL RATES
Prices listed are daily rates. Rentals are for a 24-hour
period; each day thereafter is half the daily rate.
Charges are for the time out whether used or not.
Order changes must be made at least 24 hours prior
to delivery. Special rates are quoted for weekly or
monthly use. Published prices are subject to change
without notice. We accept all major credit cards.
SECURITY/DAMAGE DEPOSITS & IDENTIFICATION
Security deposits and identification are required for
all rentals. Identification and security deposit or valid
credit card are required for all rentals. If any damages
or losses are incurred, the deposit will be used to cover
these damages or repairs. If the cost incurred is more
than the deposit, the additional charges will be billed
to the customer.
LOST OR STOLEN ITEMS
Customer is responsible for current full replacement
cost of all lost, missing, stolen, or broken items. In the
event of stolen equipment, a police report must be filed
immediately, and then immediately notify CaterRent.
RESPONSIBILITY
Responsibility for equipment remains with the customer
from the time of equipment possession to the time of
return. Please make sure the equipment is secured
when not in use and protected from weather. Check
with the management of hired halls to make sure they
will take care of this.
INSURANCE, PERMITS & LICENSES
Prior to equipment rental, customer must present a
certificate of insurance and other consents. Any
permits or licenses required by the city or venue is the
customer’s responsibility.

DELIVERY
Delivery is available for a fee. Though you may
choose to pick-up your equipment in most cases,
there are some items that must be delivered. In this
instance, the v symbol will appear next to the item
listing. If you arrange to pick-up your equipment, we
reserve the right to refuse your order for any reason,
including but not limited to, the use of an open truck,
or a vehicle inadequate to transport the equipment.
We have tie-down restraints available for sale to assist
you whenever possible if you wish to transport the
equipment on your own.
Please make delivery arrangements explicit. Additional
fees will be charged for waiting time, if the delivery
and/or the pick up location is other than ground
level or if no one is at the arranged point of delivery
at specified time.
Our delivery person is instructed to neatly place all
items in a mutually convenient space upon delivery.
Upon pick up all items should be placed in the same
location. When necessary, equipment operation
and set up will be explained to responsible party by
person delivering such equipment.
CLEAN EQUIPMENT
All equipment MUST be returned clean and in the
appropriate boxes or containers in which they were
received or there may be an additional charge.
CANCELLATION
Cancellations must be made by phone with
confirmation 3 business days prior to the order date
or charges will be incurred. From May 15-September
15 and December 1-January 2 cancellations must
be made 7 business days prior. Individual contract
terms may prevail over these terms. All changes and
cancellations must be confirmed by phone.
