The increasing complexity of sport business, interest of the media, globalization, and the influence especially new media, have created numerous professional opportunities at various levels. These opportunities exist with profession franchises and intercollegiate athletics, and include 1) venue and event management, 2) sporting goods and licensed merchandise, 3) sport marketing and sponsorship, 4) sport tourism and hospitality, 5)media and new media, and 6) sport law.
