1:00 pm - Please arrive at in order to find the
group, sign the required waiver, and be ready
to bike!
1:30pm – Our tour begins!
Corus Quay is a LEED Gold building, featuring
living walls, recycled materials, and an indoor
slide!
3:00pm – The next tour stop: UofT’s Exam
Centre, 255 McCaul St.
The exam centre is a LEED Gold building,
formerly an old warehouse. It features a cool
roof, rainwater harvesting, and achieves
substantial energy and water savings.
4:00pm – Our final stop – UofT’s
Cogeneration Plant, 17 Russell St.
This 100 year old facility generates enough
heat for 90% of the campus’ buildings, and
utilizes waste heat in summer moths to
produce electricity for cooling.
