Artist's background
Born in Manila, Philippines, in 1982, Fara took up Bachelor in Fine Arts, major in Visual Communication
at the University of the Philippines Diliman.
After graduating from college, Fara underwent technical training in animation, printmaking and took on local and
international projects in graphic and multimedia design by joining private creative agencies.
In 2008, she began teaching at the University of the Philippines Baguio where she is active as an instructor until
present time. While teaching full time, she is finishing her Master in Fine Arts, major in Art Theory at the University
of the Philippines Diliman.

Green Ride – an annual advocacy bike ride to support clean air initiatives through the use of Nonmotorized transportation
Area of concern: Use of sustainable, non-motorized transportation as a direct solution to the worsening air
condition in Baguio City. Regular group rides are scheduled to campaign for use of bikes around the city
Role: Proponent and Ride leader
