Manufacturing Technology of Traveller and
Yarn Rings from Sintered Powder Materials
The technology allows manufacturing rings for draw twisters from powder metal materials. A pilot
manufacturing has been organized.
FIELDS OF APPLICATION:
 textile and chemical industry (LLC «Khimvolokno», Chernihiv).
MAIN FEATURES AND BENEFITS:
 The technology allows manufacturing “ring-traveler” nods for draw twisters with improved
functional performance and increased working order term (for 25-30 %);
 Application of nods manufactured by this technology allows decreasing the products
manufacturing first cost for 15%.
