Newsletter 1 September 2008 INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON WATER POLICY 2009 WATER AS A VULNERABLE AND EXHAUSTIBLE RESOURCE The conference is jointly organized by the Czech University of Life Sciences (CULS) Prague – Faculty of Environmental Sciences, the European Association for Life Sciences (ICA) and the National Association of State Grant Colleges USA (NASULGC). People round the world are becoming increasingly aware that water is a vulnerable and exhaustible natural resource. Researchers, scholars and specialists in water management should therefore take the lead and propose both practical and feasible methods to prevent water pollution and unsustainable water management. Implementing a sustainable water policy is crucial for the future of our planet. The conference seeks to promote scientific exchange EU and US researchers and postgraduates students.
