Transferring to DU Academic Programs of Study Dillard University awards degrees in Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Science / Bachelor of Science in Nursing Transfer Admissions into Dillard University In order to be considered for admissions into Dillard University, transfer applicants must have a minimum 2.0 grade point average with 24 transferable hours, must submit official transcripts from all accredited colleges/universities attended and an application fee of $35. Students with less than 24 transferable credits are required to submit official high school transcripts and ACT or SAT test scores. Dillard University evaluates the transcripts of transfer applicants in accordance with its own courses of study and requirements for graduation. Transfer evaluations will not be processed until the $35 application fee has been paid. Applicants should note the university does not accept more than 60 credit hours of transfer work and that applicants must complete at least three-fourths of the courses required in their field of concentration at Dillard. Transfer applicants must be in good academic standing from the previous institution. Students who are under suspension from another institution are not eligible for admission. Only those courses that a student has received a C or better will be considered for transfer credit. Developmental courses are not transferable. Transfer Admission to School of Nursing In order to be eligible for admission into the Dillard University School of Nursing, you must first be admitted into Dillard University. As a pre-nursing student, you will not be guaranteed admission into the School of Nursing. Admission will be determined by the School of Nursing, which accepts applications once a year for fall admission by March 1. To be considered for admission into the School of Nursing, students must submit an official college transcript reflecting a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5, an overall TEAS score 58.7with a minimum score of 69% in Reading and a minimum score of 63.3% in Math.
