It is an organization with great diversity that supports members and affiliates with an array of professional learning and collaborative networking opportunities as they face the challenge of innovation and transforming education. The Student Conference on IT Education is a two-­‐day annual event organized by the Student Society of Information Technology Education Region III (SSITE – R3), which aims to engage the students in constructive dialogue on critical issues in IT and other related topics, promote innovation, develop leadership qualities, teamwork and camaraderie. At least 3,000+ students from different schools in the region will convene along with young professionals, leaders and advocates. WHAT’S NEW WITH SCITE? Recognizing the importance of student scholarly work, it is imperative that research and innovative initiatives be encouraged and adequately rewarded. With this insight, SCITE organizes the first International Student Research Conference, which will be participated by students from all academic levels including graduate students. Participants must be students pursuing an academic degree at the time of submission. There are three categories in this area 1) graduate 2) undergraduate and 3) poster presentation. A cash prize is awarded to the top three winners in each category plus all accepted papers have the chance to be chosen for scholarship and funding from the partner industries and academic institutions. PAPER SUBMISSION Authors are invited to submit original, unpublished full research papers for presentation at ISRCCS. The Conference Review Policy requires that each submitted paper will be peer-­‐reviewed and accepted by at least two reviewers for inclusion in the conference program and CD-­‐ROM proceedings. At least an author of each accepted paper is required to register and attend the conference to present. The conference CD-­‐ROM will contain the full paper and presentation slides of all research papers presented and will be distributed to all conference participants. All manuscripts and presentation slides must be submitted electronically, in PDF and word document forms using the ACM templates available at http://www.acm.org/sigs/pubs/proceed/template.html.
