The Fulbright LL.M. Award at UCLA School of Law The Award: UCLA School of Law’s Master of Laws (LL.M.) Program has partnered with Fulbright Belgium to offer a 50% tuition fellowship grant for eligible students to pursue the LL.M. degree at UCLA. Eligible students must be a citizen of Belgium or Luxembourg, and must hold a first degree in law from a foreign (non-U.S.) jurisdiction. Fulbright will also offer the successful candidate a travel stipend, sickness and accident insurance, J-visa sponsorship, and access to global Fulbright programming in Belgium and the United States. The Program: UCLA Law has a reputation for excellence and is consistently ranked among the top tier of law schools in the nation. UCLA was recently ranked as the eighth-best university in the world and second-best public institution in the United States in the U.S. News & World Report inaugural 2016 Best Global Universities rankings. Furthermore, UCLA has been consistently ranked as the best law school for entertainment law by The Hollywood Reporter. The LL.M. Program affords students the opportunity to pursue advanced studies in law with optional specializations in a variety of fields, including: Business Law (Business, Securities Regulation, Tax, or Bankruptcy Tracks); Entertainment, Media, and Intellectual Property Law; International and Comparative Law; Critical Race Studies; Public Interest Law; and Law and Sexuality. Students can even create a self-designed specialization in an area of their own choosing with approval from the program director. Past alumni have designed their own specializations in disciplines such as dispute resolution, environmental law, and litigation, to name a few.
