His duties included Staff Officer, Fire Safety Inspector, Hazmat Technician, and Fire/Arson Investigator. He was a member of the Rochester Volunteer Fire Department from 1988 to 2008. He was an active member and 8 year president of the Lorain County Fire Investigators coordinating fire investigation efforts with 28 different jurisdictions. He was also an active member of the Lorain County Hazmat response team for 8 years. Mr. McGee has over 30 years of professional experience working with mine, construction, over the road tractor, RV, and automotive equipment. He has certifications as ASE Master Automotive Technician and ASE Master Medium and Heavy Duty Truck Technician. Mr. McGee has personally investigated over 1000 cases related to fire, vehicle theft, lock forensics, and mechanical failure analysis. He is qualified and testified as an expert in all aspects of fire investigation in the District Courts of Colorado. He has qualified and testified as an expert vehicle theft investigator in Colorado.
