Parents’ and Family Weekend welcomes our Embry-Riddle parents and family members back to the campus. Parents will have the opportunity to
reconnect with their sons and daughters; see all the campus improvements; meet with campus faculty, staff, and administration; and have a great
deal of fun. Headquarters for Parents’ Weekend is “The Hangar” located in the Student Union - Building 16. Students are welcome to attend all
events.

Discovery Day is a university-wide celebration, highlighting the research
and scholarship of our undergraduates. Take the opportunity to observe

Observatory Tour
6:45pm to 9:00pm
Observatory Star Gazing Tour (meet at “The Eagle Gym” for
transportation to the Observatory; RSVP on the registration form and get
your ticket at the Welcome area). Experience the opportunity to view the
Moon, Jupiter and the Orion Nebula through our telescopes. While you
wait for your tour, visit some of the Discovery Day projects on display get a close-up view and talk with the participants.

Rifle, Armed Exhibition Drill, is an intense and exciting part of the Honor
Corps. The Rifle Team is a collection of cadets, who after many hours of
practice and perfection, maneuver and manipulate decommissioned

drill sequences.

Take an observer flight with your son or daughter if they have a regularly
scheduled training activity (fixed-wing only; subject to availability and
weather; one-two passengers at a time depending on aircraft; instructor

EagleAeroSport Lab Open House
Explore one of the latest projects at the Prescott Campus – a student built
RV-12 aircraft. Check out the current status and talk with the team

Fixed wing and helicopter Static Displays - Embry-Riddle and Universal
Helicopters. Drive on your own to the Flight Line.
Flight Line – Private Flights
Does your flight student have a private pilot’s license? Airplanes are
available to rent through the Flight Line under certain circumstances. The
aircraft can accommodate the student and up to two passengers.
Arrangements can be made through the Flight Supervisor and must be
approved by student’s training manager (fixed-wing only; subject to
availability and weather). Drive on your own to the Flight Line.
Hawaii Club Ohana Night
6:00pm
Join the Hawaii Club for its 20th annual event. This year’s Ohana Night will
feature food, culture, performances and fun. Tickets are $15. Club
members will have an informational table in the Check-In area on Friday,
April 8th from 10:00am-5:00pm. RSVP for attendance on the registration
form. Payment will be taken when you pick up your tickets on April 8th.
