Left, center and right channels in front provide the clear positioning of dialogue. Separate or “discrete” left and right surround channels on the side and the rear immerse you, the viewer, in the film with atmospherics and ambient sounds and a low frequency (subwoofer) channel contributes extra punch to action and special effects sequences. In order to get Dolby Digital (AC-3) sound, you must connect an optical cable from the AC-3 Optical output (located on the 4700, 5100, 5200, 5800, 5900, 6000, 6100, 9200 and 4500 AC-3 RF adapter) to a Dolby Digital (AC-3) Home Theater Receiver. Only selected Bell ExpressVu programming and Vu movies are available in Dolby Digital AC-3
