Classes will be held on Wednesdays beginning March 4, 11, 18 and 25th from 10:00—11:00 a.m., at the Syracuse Community Center. The cost will be $2.00 for ALL four classes and supplies. Please bring a laptop if you have one. We will have a few available for use for those who do not have one. "Dolphin Tale 2" continues the story of the brave dolphin Winter, whose miraculous rescue and recovery-thanks to a groundbreaking prosthetic tail-made her a symbol of hope and perseverance to people around the world and inspired the 2011 family hit movie "Dolphin Tale. We will be going to the Harris Fine Arts Center in Provo to see the BYU Young Ambassadors perform Heartsongs: Melodies of Love (Matinee) Featuring YA alumni from 45 years of world tours in a fastpaced revue about those moments in life when love touches us in expected ways. Highlights include show tunes from award-winning Broadway musicals and international hits by The Beatles, Elvis Presley, Adele, and Michael Jackson. The bus will leave the Syracuse Community Center at 10:30 a.m. and should return before 6:00 p.m. Cost is $10 per person. We will stop at the Olive Garden in Provo to eat before going to the show. Appointments will run every Tuesday beginning February 3rd through April 7th from 10:30 am. to 1:00 p.m., at the Syracuse Community Center. Appointments are mandatory and can be made by calling 801-614-9660 #1. Tax-payers are asked to bring the following records to the site: photo identification Social Security card (and cards for any dependents) a copy of last year’s return all tax-related forms received, such as W-2s from each employer, 1099Rs for pension or annuities, Social Security 1099, or other 1099 for interest or dividends unemployment compensation statements state income tax refund statement documentation relating to any tax adjustments or credits you may be entitled to such as tuition statements, child and dependent care expenses, real estate taxes, car excise tax, mortgage interest, charitable donations, home energy efficiency item purchases, and year-end statements from investment accounts ___________________________________________________________________________ MEDICARE 101 Are you turning 65 or preparing to retire? Does Medicare seem complicated? Spend an hour at a FREE Medicare 101 workshop and learn how to take advantage of the benefits Medicare has to offer. Stories or narratives have been shared in every culture as a means of entertainment, education, cultural preservation, and instilling moral values. Crucial elements of stories and storytelling include plot, characters, and narrative point of view. Classes will be on Mondays from 12:00-1:30 p.m. The classes are FREE, however a Compact Disc (CD) and Instructional Manual will be available for purchase and are strongly recommended. (The CD will cost $10 and the Instructional Manual will cost $4/individual or $6/couple). Now is the time to put your skills and talents to good use by volunteering through RSVP. RSVP is America's largest volunteer network for people age 55 and over.
