Number problems down the left margin only.
Skip 2 lines between problems and 1 line between each part of a problem.
You may write on the back of the paper.
Each assignment must start at the top of the paper.
“Roll-over “ problems (starting a problem on the front-side and continuing on the back)
are not allowed unless the problem starts at the top of the page.
6. You must show work for each problem.
7. Work must be done with a pencil.
8. You must circle the answer you want graded.
9. All diagrams must be done with a ruler/straightedge or template.
10. Use IB graph paper only.
11. Unless otherwise stated, scale your graph paper as 1 unit = 1 cm.
12. Unless otherwise stated:
a. Give your answer as an exact value or,
b. Give your answer correct to 3 significant figures or,
c. Give your answer as required (e.g. “to 1 decimal place”).
d. Round money amounts off to the nearest hundredth’s place.
e. Round people down to the nearest person.
f. Round the number of years up to the nearest year.
