Welcome to Spring Freshman Orientation 2016! Over the next two days, you will receive a great deal of information that will prepare you for your time at LSU. You should attend as many sessions as possible and be open to new experiences. While you are here, you will begin to make LSU your new home. Geaux Tigers!

Ambassador who will be assisting you during orientation. This is the time to ASK QUESTIONS! After this meeting, your Ambassador will escort you to your first exam.

After Orientation Checklist

Below are things that you should complete or attend before classes begin.

Confirm your class schedule

View your new class schedule on myLSU as soon as after your orientation session is over! You can also use myLSU to modify your schedule.

Select Additional Services

Use myLSU to notify LSU if you want a parking permit, a meal plan, health insurance or

TigerCASH before you pay your fee bill.

Complete the Registration process

FEE BILLS WILL NOT BE MAILED TO YOU! You can pay by online check or credit card. Your class schedule will be purged if not paid by 4:30 pm Tuesday, January 12, 2016!

NOTE: You must be sure to click the “complete registration” button if your balance is $0.00!

Complete the MyStudent Body (MSB) Essentials Course

Incoming students are REQUIRED to complete this comprehensive online health education course, featuring three modules- alcohol, drugs and sexual violence. Students are preregistered and should follow the log-in instructions provided. Otherwise, their successful completion of the requirement will not be documented appropriately. Calculators are not allowed on the Calculus or Trigonometry exams.

Non-graphing calculators are allowed for Chemistry exam.

Bring a #2 pencil and don’t be late to any exam.

If you would like to add or drop an exam, please visit the Assistance Table at Check-In.

If you are unable to attempt all the exams you would like, you may take additional exams at no charge before January 25, 2016. Please call the Office of Assessment and
