January Meeting – Ross Volunteers Mark Nichols Squadron "Heaven's" Eleven Executive Officer 2015 January 23 & 24: Federation Meeting @ Texas A&M University sacred, and comic selections. To learn more about the Singing Cadets, go to their website: http://singingcadets.tamu.edu. Mark Nichols was born and raised in a small town south of Amarillo called Canyon, Texas. From there is where he received many personality traits from living in a small town environment but similar to a “big” city feeling. After graduating from Canyon High School in May 2011, Mark went to Texas A&M University originally as an Aerospace Engineering major. He also joined the Corps of Cadets in Squadron “Falcon” Sixteen and became a member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 2015. After his first semester at A&M, he realized his passion was more for interacting with people and caring for their needs rather than punching a calculator and memorizing complex formulas. With that in mind, Nichols decided to change majors to Industrial Distribution where he would still receive a technical degree but with focuses in business, sales, and supply chain or branch management. Upon graduation in May 2015, He will receive a minor in Business Administration and a Certificate of Leadership through the Corps of Cadets. Mark will enter the work force in the DFW metro for Sunbelt Industrial Trucks as Customer Service and Support Representative where he is currently employed as their Social Media Coordinator. Nichols transferred this past Fall to the newly reinstated Squadron “Heaven’s” Eleven where he is serving as the Executive and Chief Financial Officer for the outfit. After joining the Industrial Distribution program, Mark started to experience joy in his academics and also found the topics much more interesting and appealing than his previous major. He has been honored by the Dwight Look College of Engineering as a Distinguished Student Scholar. But on a personal level, Mark enjoys being outdoors whether it is hunting, fishing, playing golf, or going for a run. He enjoys running, swimming and biking so naturally he possesses a love for participating in triathlons. Above all else he cherishes spending times with family, friends and his 15 year old golden retriever “puppy.” Raffle Items & Volunteers Needed Howdy and Happy New Year! and setup before the Concert.
