Louisiana Conference
Mission Statement
The purpose of the Louisiana Conference on Water Supply, Sewerage, and
Industrial Wastes, Inc. is as follows:
to promote the professionalism of, and to provide training for, and to
conduct forums for the exchange of information among everyone in the
water and wastewater fields.
The conference will also strive to:
promote and support mandatory certification of all water and wastewater
operators, to update customer service and to improve the quality of life for
the citizens of Louisiana through safe drinking water and protection of the
environment.

Funds necessary to operate the Louisiana Conference are generated by memberships,
fees charged to exhibitors and registration fees to attend the certification review and
technical sessions at the Annual Short Course.
By operating on self-generated revenues and primarily through the use of volunteers we
have been able to provide education and training to water and wastewater operators
since 1938.
The Officers and Board would like to say “Thank You” to all who support our efforts and
provide the necessary funding for our continued operations.
