Welcome to The Princess Anne Country Club! Since 1916, our Club has provided a
haven for many members and their guests. It is our hope that this booklet will help our
guests feel more at home during their visit. Useful maps of our campus and both levels
of the clubhouse can be found on pages 15 & 16. Dress code information, important
phone numbers and general rules are listed on page 13 & 14. Please relax and enjoy

CLUBHOUSE UPPER LEVEL
CAPE HENRY FOYER
LOCATION: Close to the non-covered entrance,
reception desk & coat-check area.
DESCRIPTION: This area features a reception
desk, coat room, member restrooms, fireplace,
and soft-seating configurations. It is a wonderful
location to wait for guests and enjoy cocktails in
comfortable soft seating.
LINKHORN LOUNGE
LOCATION: This room is located on the northwest corner of the upper floor close to
Linkhorn Drive. It overlooks our tiered practice greens and provides an excellent view of
the first tee.
DESCRIPTION: The Linkhorn Lounge features 7-8 tables accommodating approximately
30 individuals, two soft-seating configurations, a fireplace, a large bar, a wine cabinet, two
televisions above the bar, and a large television.
Lunch is served here Tuesday through Saturday
for all members and guests age 18 and
older. While this room serves primarily as a
bar/lounge Tuesday through Saturday nights,
lunch and dinner can also be enjoyed in this
comfortable and well-appointed area. Card
playing is not permitted here.
RESERVATION POLICY: Seating is only
available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
CHESAPEAKE ROOM
LOCATION: Located close to the center of
the west-side of the Club, this dining room
adjoins the partially covered, rounded
outdoor porch and offers an expansive
view of the tiered west lawn and first tee.
A perfect place to watch the sunset.
DESCRIPTION: The Chesapeake Room
is the primary member dining room.
Approximately 70 members and guests
can be accommodated here in a casual, yet
elegant setting. The adjoining porch works
in concert with this dining room. Members should check in at the maître-d stand located
in this room, upon arriving. Lunch and dinner are served Tuesday through Saturday.
Sunday features a wonderful brunch.
RESERVATION POLICY: Reservations, while not required, are encouraged and will be
taken daily.
CHESAPEAKE PORCH
DESCRIPTION: This non-screened porch is accessible from the outside steps on the
west side of the building and also through the Chesapeake Room, Linkhorn Lounge
and Prince Charles Room. Approximately 20 individuals can
be accommodated here on a first-come first-serve basis.
This is the perfect spot to watch the sunset and begin a
wonderful evening.
RESERVATION POLICY: Seats on the porch are only available
on a first-come, first-serve basis..
PRINCE CHARLES ROOM
LOCATION: This room is on the west
side between the Virginia Ballroom and
the Chesapeake Room.
DESCRIPTION: While the primary use
of this dining room is for family à la carte
lunch and dinner, this room works very
well in conjunction with the Virginia
Ballroom and may be booked for private
functions.
RESERVATION POLICY: Reservations
are recommended.
VIRGINIA BALLROOM
LOCATION: This is the largest room on the
south-side of the building.
DESCRIPTION: Our primary banquet room
which is available for Member-sponsored
private functions and special Club events.
Approximately 220 people can be seated
here.
RESERVATION POLICY: Reservations are
necessary for this room.
THE FIRST LANDING
LOCATION: This area is easily accessible
from the south-east private function entrance
featuring a porte-cochere and adjoins the
Virginia Ballroom.
DESCRIPTION: The First Landing contains
a built-in bar and is in close proximity to
restrooms. While this space is typically utilized
in conjunction with the Virginia Ballroom, it is also be available for cards and private
functions.
RESERVATION POLICY: Reservations are required.
PRINCESS ANNE ROOM
LOCATION: The largest, east-side
dining room is conveniently located
between both entrances.
DESCRIPTION: This luxuriouslyappointed room contains a fireplace and
can accommodate up to 50 members
and guests. This room is ideal for a
casually elegant event or meeting
RESERVATION POLICY: Reservations
are required.
FOUNDER'S ROOM
LOCATION: This room is the smaller of
the two dining rooms on the east side of
the building. It is conveniently located
between both east-side entrances.
DESCRIPTION: The perfect location
for a small meeting, a game of cards, or
private lunch or dinner for up to 16.
This also is a wonderful spot to enjoy
a book or have cocktails with friends.
It features a significant bookcase
containing Princess Anne historical
memorabilia which serves a reminder of
our proud heritage and traditions.
RESERVATION POLICY: Members are encouraged to reserve this room for private
functions, card playing, intimate lunches and dinners.
CLUBHOUSE LOWER LEVEL
ATLANTIC SPORTS LOBBY
DESCRIPTION: Located at the base of the
stairs, this area is home for historical artifacts
and memorabilia of interest to members
and guests.
GOLF PRO-SHOP & BAG STORAGE ROOM
LOCATION: Everything you need for an
enjoyable day on the links can be found
in the Pro Shop, located at the base of
the staircase. An up-to-date inventory
of clubs, shoes, and apparel is always
maintained. Riding carts, push carts and
caddies are available here for member
and guest convenience. Please check-in
here prior to play. Information about
the course can be found on page 11 of
this booklet.
MEN’S LOUNGE
LOCATION: Gentlemen will find their
lounge located close to the north-west
corner of the building. It can be accessed
through double doors off of the covered
patio, through the Atlantic Sports Lobby,
and from the Men’s Locker Room.
DESCRIPTION: The Men’s Lounge
features a built-in bar, and 4 televisions. A
buffet or à la carte lunch is served Tuesday
through Saturday. Approximately 36 seats
are available here. Juniors (under the age 18) are not permitted in this room unless
accompanied by an adult.
RESERVATION POLICY: Reservations are not required to dine in this area.
LADIES LOUNGE
LOCATION: Ladies will find their lounge
located close to the south-west corner of
the building. It can be accessed through
double doors off of the covered patio or
the lower hall.
DESCRIPTION: There are 24 seats plus a
soft seating configuration and a television.
A buffet or à la carte lunch is served
Tuesday through Saturday. Juniors (under
the age 18) are not permitted here unless
accompanied by an adult.
RESERVATION POLICY: Reservations are not required to dine in this area.
KIDS CLUB 3800
DESCRIPTION: Babysitting is available here
Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30
p.m. and as needed for special events. Friday
nights, from 6:00 - 10:00 p.m. are Movie Nights,
where children enjoy dinner and a movie while
their parents also enjoy the Club. Please call
the front desk receptionist to reserve a spot for
your child(ren).
SEAPINES ROOM
DESCRIPTION: This multipurpose room is located on the south-east corner of the
building, in close proximity to the pool. Uses include, but are not limited to, cards,
children’s parties or small casual, business meetings.
ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES and 1916 CONFERENCE ROOM
DESCRIPTION: Within this area, members
will find the accounting, human resources,
marketing, and membership departments,
as well as the offices of the General Manager
and Food and Beverage Director. The
conference room located here is a perfect
location for small meetings. It features a
large conference table that will seat up to
twelve individuals.

CASUAL DINING AT PACC
BREAKERS
LOCATION: Conveniently located on
the south side of the swimming pool
under the Lifestyles & Fitness Center.
DESCRIPTION: Breakers is the
home of informal fare and a casual
atmosphere. There are eight tables
inside and four tables outside along
with a bar, several televisions and a cozy
fireplace for the winter months. This
restaurant is open Wednesday – Sunday during the winter and every day during the
summer. Specific hours can be found on the website or through our receptionist.
RESERVATION POLICY: Seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis both
inside and outside year round.
DRESS CODE: Clean athletic attire acceptable in the Club’s athletic venues; neat,
tailored jeans of any color; and shorts (including Soffe shorts) are appropriate. Shirt
and shoes are required. Only dry bathing suits are acceptable. Ladies are required to
wear a cover-up over an entire bathing suit. Towels are not acceptable as cover-ups.
POOLSIDE CONCESSION
LOCATION: On the southern side of the pool deck, adjacent to Breakers.
DESCRIPTION: The concession stand is open for snacks, lunch and dinner while the
pool is open. Orders can be placed and picked up at the counter prior to 4:00 p.m.
Tableside ordering and food delivery commences at 4:00 p.m.
TENTH TEE
LOCATION: On the golf course beside the tenth
tee.
DESCRIPTION: There is no need to be hungry or
thirsty during your golf round! Stop by the Tenth Tee
to enjoy delicious casual fare. This snack bar is open
in concert with the seasons.
PACC ATHLETIC VENUES
LIFEST YLES FITNESS CENTER
The state of the art Lifestyles Center opened in 2000
and was expanded in 2005 and 2009. New equipment
was added in 2010. Here members and guests can
experience a great workout on many types of equipment
like spin bikes, cardio machines, free weights, and
resistance machines. Personal training as well as group
exercise classes are available which include Yoga, Cardio
Core , and Zumba to name a few. These classes are held
in the dedicated group exercise room. Massage services
are also available. The Lifestyles Center is open every
day of the week from 5:30 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. in order
to never miss a workout.
FITNESS DRESS CODE: Workout attire appropriate for a country club, including
shirts and shoes is required.
TENNIS FACILITIES
Our tennis facilities can accommodate
every playing style, with a total of 12
courts (8 outdoor/4 indoor), offering a
choice of play on fast dry clay of deco turf
surfaces. The indoor pavilion features a
viewing deck for spectators. A well-lit and
climate-controlled temporary air structure
covers three outdoor clay courts during
the winter months. Five fantastic teaching
pros are available for private and group
lessons. Top of the line equipment and
apparel is available at the Pro Shop, open each and every day except Christmas. Courts
may be reserved for play between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. for periods of up to one
and one-half hours for either singles or doubles. Reservations can be made up to three
days in advance by calling the tennis shop (428-7803) beginning at 8:00 a.m. or in
person after 9:00 a.m. Reservations for play before 8:00 a.m. must be made at least
one day in advance.

TENNIS DRESS CODE: Proper tennis specific attire is required at all times. Proper
attire does not include: tee shirts normally worn as undergarments, surf tee shirts,
tank tops, bathing suites, cut-off shorts, Soffe shorts, or other attire determined to
be inappropriate by the board of Directors. Shoes must be tennis specific and have
non-marking soles for hard courts and smooth soles for clay courts. Ladies: Color
coordinated tennis attire and warm-ups may be of any color. Exposed midriffs for
any reason are inappropriate. Gentlemen: Fifty percent white is required. Shirts with
collars and sleeves are required unless the shirt is tennis specific.
GOLF COURSE
The renovated golf course reopened
in May, 2008. Long considered to be
one of the region’s most beautiful and
challenging par 70 tracts, the new course
was designed by Pete Dye protégé, Tim
Liddy, to be a superb fusion of art and
strategy for the novice and seasoned
player. The 6,042 yard tract meanders
through scenic neighborhoods lined
by lush pines and crosses several inlets
and lakes. It embraces the land’s natural features and enfolds greens and bunkers
that were meticulously shaped by hand. Caddy services are available, pull carts can
be used for those that prefer walking, and PGA certified professionals are available
for private or group instruction for adults and juniors. Our practice range, putting
greens and short game practice area are open daily and excellent course conditions
are maintained year-round. Tuesdays are reserved for ladies only until 10:30 a.m..
Starting times are required Tuesday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
and on weekends and holidays from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Starting times may be
obtained eight days prior to the date of play only by calling the (Golf Shop 422-3360)
at 4:00 p.m.. Beginning at 5:00 p.m. any remaining starting times may be obtained
either by calling or appearing in person at the Golf Shop. Please register at the golf
shop prior to commencing to play.

GOLF DRESS CODE: Proper golf specific attire is required at all times. Proper attire
includes Bermuda shorts but does not include: denim blue jeans, cut-off shorts, tennis
shorts, bathing suits, or other attire determined to be inappropriate by the Board of
Directors. Shoes must be of the approved spikeless variety. Shirts that are tucked in with
sleeves and collars, and mock turtlenecks are appropriate. Ladies-specific guidelines:
Bare midriffs, bare backs, halter-tops, low-slung pants, short shorts and tank tops are
inappropriate. Collarless and sleeveless shirts and shirts designed to be worn outside
the pants are appropriate. Bermuda shorts and shorts/skorts that are less than five
inches above the middle of the knee are appropriate.
POOL
Our summertime hub of
activity, the pool features fun
in the sun for kids of all ages.
The aquatics complex features
an Olympic size championship
heated swimming pool which
is open on weekends in May
and September and every day
between Memorial Day and
Labor Day. An adult swim is
available from 5:30 a.m. until
8:30 a.m. daily. Pool hours
vary during the summer, so please check the website or newsletter. Please note that
toys and floats are not permitted in the pool. Children who are not potty trained are
required to wear a cloth or disposable diaper with plastic training pants or a swimsuit
diaper available from the pool office. Be sure to check the Club calendar to ensure that
you don’t miss any of the fun events at the pool which include Dive-In Movie Nights,
family cookouts and perhaps even a Luau!

CLUBHOUSE DRESS CODE:
1.
GENERAL: Attire considered appropriate for a country club of the caliber of the
Princess Anne is expected of all members and their guests. Gentlemen should remove
their hats upon entering the clubhouse, and appropriate shirts should be tucked in. The Board of Directors shall have the authority to modify dress code requirements for
special events. More specific information is as follows:
i)
Upper-Level West-Side (Linkhorn Lounge, Chesapeake Room
& Porch, Prince Charles Room, Virginia Ballroom):
Casual attire is acceptable including the following: Neat tailored jeans of any color;
clean athletic attire including golf and tennis shorts, shirts, skirts/skorts and warmups; shirts with collars, mock turtlenecks; V-neck and crew sport shirts; men’s and
ladies open-toed sandals. Jackets are optional. T-shirts of all varieties and flip flops
are not permitted.
ii)
Upper-Level East-Side (Princess Anne Room and Founders
Room):
Jackets are required and neckties encouraged. Jeans are considered inappropriate. Young men are not required to wear jackets, but should be dressed neatly in
trousers and shirts with collars. Young ladies are encouraged to wear slacks, skirts,
and/or dresses.
iii)Lower Level (Men’s & Ladies Lounges):
Casual attire is acceptable including the following: Neat tailored jeans of any color;
golf, tennis and workout attire; open-toed sandals. Bathing suits and cut-off shorts
are inappropriate. Gentlemen, please remove your hats.

PRIVATE EVENTS: The attire for any private function will be established by
the host and approved by a member of the Club Management Team.
3.
BREAKERS AND SOUTH PATIO: Clean athletic attire acceptable in the
Club’s athletic venues; neat, tailored jeans of any color; and shorts (including Soffe
shorts) are appropriate. Shirt and shoes are required. Only dry bathing suits are
acceptable. Ladies are required to wear a cover-up over entire bathing suit. Towels are
not acceptable as cover-ups. 13

Smoking Policy
The Princess Anne Country Club is a smoke-free facility. Smoking areas have been
designated on the southern porch of the upper level and patios outside of the men's
and ladies lounges on the lower level.
Cell Phone Policy
In order to preserve the tranquility of The Princess Anne clubhouse and sporting
venues, cell phones must be set to the "non-ring" mode. Within the clubhouse, cell
phones may only be used in the first and second floor telephone rooms.
