Your new Unicom Credit Union revealed Question & Answer Information Sheet Unicom Credit Union is changing its name and identity to better reflect its commitment to the university sector. From early October 2011 you will notice a range of changes reflecting the introduction of the new brand including our new name Catalyst Mutual. We’ve put together the following points to help you share the exciting news of the changes, and address any concerns or curiosities that you may have. WHY? Why are we rebranding? Why are we changing our name? The name and identity change signals a refocus for our business. We’re moving to something that better expresses what we offer, in a way that clearly communicates our connection and understanding of the university sector. We wanted our identity to show that we’re all about providing smarter banking for those in the know; that we deliver an intelligent alternative to the way you bank. Specifically, our new name and look will: ‐

Demonstrate our 40 years of experience in responding to the unique needs of the university sector Reflect our connection with modern commerce and service technology Reinforce the close bond we have with our members, our shared ideals and our commitment to providing unique tailored solutions for their needs WHAT? What’s changing? Our name and our visual identity (our logo and the way we look overall) will be refreshed. And the language we use will also change to better reflect who we are; switched on, bright, nimble and specialist – reinforcing that we’re not like other financial institutions. These changes will impact our website, all the communication we send out, our branch and collateral (for example ATM cards and stationery). What’s not changing? Nothing is changing at an organisational/structural level. We still offer award winning low fees and charges; we are still focused on delivering exceptional, convenient service. We will even be adding some great new services (like an i‐phone app and e‐statements). Are we still a credit union? Yes. We’re still a part of Community Alliance Credit Union; we’re still owned by our members and will still offer the same exceptional and personalised service. Will you be closing your branch at UNSW? No. Our UNSW branch will be re‐fitted in the new look but you can still find us in the same location as always. ‐ 1 ‐ For more information please visit your new website www.catalystmutual.com.au.
