Packaged tooling, complete with specialist engineers and project management (if required), provides comprehensive turn-key support to projects such as jacket and monopile installations and subsea construction works. (Pile driving hammers, pile top drills and grouting services can also be provided by LDD and MENCK). Our engineering business unit fabricates custom-engineered equipment or any temporary works you might require for your project. Our fabrication lead times are typically between 8 to 12 weeks. Typically LM lifting and handling equipment is modular and shipped in standard ISO containers, designed to DNV or Lloyds standards and CE marked. A cooperation between StabFrame: Pile Guide Frames The StabFrame is a deep water pile guide frame. • Opening and open sleeve configuration • Varying ‘quick-fit’ mud mat configurations • 5 degree levelling base. Full integrated survey and monitoring packages • Pile position (<1m), orientation (<2 degrees), verticality (<1 degree) • Full marine operability & pile stability analysis service, including geotechnical analysis and report. HRS: Hydraulic Release Shackles Hydraulic release shackles range from 35 to over 1000 tonne for both surface and sub-sea operation. Our hydraulic release shackles are typically used where unhooking the load is not possible or the associated risks and/or costs of unhooking are too great. • Operation subsea to 2000m ++ • Various Hydraulic Power Unit and Umbilical options • Full WROV intervention - optional Pre-piling Templates LDD can provide a number of solutions. • Pre-piling templates that can be configured for tripod, quad or other jacket structures • Fixed one-off pre-piling templates • Incorporation of pile grippers and other installation tooling • Incorporation of survey and camera equipment • Modular and folding units for reduced deck space. • Safety feature to override hydraulic failure. Our frames are designed to minimise hydro-dynamic loadings. Levelling systems can be incorporated. PLT: Pinned Lifting Tools ILT: Internal Lifting Tools PUT: Pile Upending Tool PLTs feature a simple single mechanical pinning system for securing to, upending and lifting piles on surface and subsea. The pin is typically removed manually by personnel, WROV, or remote hydraulics. ILTs can be easily inserted in a vertical or horizontal position and can be used to a depth of 2,000m ++. LDD's upending equipment is engineered and built to aid the lifting and handling of piles to 7m diameter, hydraulic hammers and large diameter bottom hole drilling assembly arrangements, etc. Range: 36-54”, 60-96”, 96-108”, 108”5.5m under development. PLTs operate both above and below water with operational water depth limited only by WROV depth rating. Additional sealing units facilitate suction or pressurization within the pile to assist in pile installation or removal. The ILT self-locks once a lifting load is applied to ensure fail-safe operation. Range: 24", 28", 36", 42", 48", 54", 60", 72", 84", 96", 108" ++. Fixed range: 24", 30", 36", 42", 48“, 54“, 60“, 68“, 72“, 78“, 84“, 96“. Variable range: 24"- 48" & 48"- 96". www.lddrill.com T:+44 (0)1209 861 930 LDD have engineered and built numerous up-ending equipment as part of temporary works packages. Range: Custom-engineered and built to any size. E: info@lddrill.com www.menck.com
