Professor Caesar Saloma Chancellor The University of Philippines Diliman Prof Caesar Saloma has a long list of outstanding awards for his research accomplishments in photonics, signal processing and complex systems including the Galileo Galilei Award from the International Commission for Optics in 2004, the ASEAN Outstanding Scientists and Technologist Award from ASEAN Committee on Science and Technology and the Lingkod Bayan Award - the Presidential Award for Outstanding Public Service in 2008. He is a member of the National Academy of Science and Technology, Philippines since 2005 and a Senior Member of the Optical Society of America since 2010.
