Silver State AP Summer Institute Participants:
As you seek university credit for the Silver State AP Summer Institute, please keep in mind the
following:






The institution granting credit for the summer institute is the University of Nevada-Las
Vegas (UNLV).
The Southern Nevada Regional Professional Development Program (RPDP) administers the
program providing graduate credit for the summer institute.
Each institute session has a corresponding 2-credit course. New and experienced sessions
use the same course number. Please register for the appropriate course. A list of courses
and class numbers is at the end of this document.
The cost is $90 for Nevada residents and $130 for non-residents. There may be a one-time
$30 Non-degree Student application fee.
It is imperative that you follow the registration procedures precisely.

THE REGISTRATION PROCESS HAS CHANGED
1. If you have never taken RPDP classes with UNLV credit or took
classes prior to 2009, then .....

2. To register for classes, you must have an NSHE ID
• Get your NSHE ID and password from an e-mail that was sent to
your Rebelmail account in March OR
• If you don’t know your Rebelmail info, call 895-0777
• If your NSHE ID is not there, call 895-0777
3. With your NSHE ID, you are ready to register for classes, go to:
