The Canadian Society of Professional Event Planners (CanSPEP) is a powerful, vibrant and
growing association of independent event planner entrepreneurs who collectively produce
thousands of meetings, conferences and events across Canada each year. CanSPEP provides
Industry Partners with a direct channel to this key market influencing an annual spend of over
$50 million dollars. Many of our members have forged long- standing supplier relationships
thanks to connecting with companies who have participated as a sponsor at a CanSPEP event.
Formed in 1996 as the Independent Meeting Planners Association of Canada (IMPAC), we
are thrilled to be celebrating CanSPEP’s 20th Anniversary this year! The Conference Planning
Committee, along with the Board of Directors, and the Past President’s Council, are looking
forward to many special plans to acknowledge this important milestone. You don’t want to miss

The 2016 conference theme is “20/20 - Remembering the past …. Envisioning the Future”.

Who We Are and What We Do
The Canadian Society of Professional Event Planners (CanSPEP) is a dynamic,
diverse and innovative society of independent event professionals, with a
leading national voice in the event industry. CanSPEP is the only association
in Canada that offers an exclusive membership to independent event planner
entrepreneurs.
Founded in 1996 as IMPAC, CanSPEP presently represents approximately 100 members and
provides INDUSTRY PARTNERS with a direct channel to a key planning market.

Get Connected!
The Canadian Society of Professional Event Planners (CanSPEP) Annual Conference is the only event of its kind in
Canada, bringing together Independent Event Planners from across the country and connecting them with the latest
education, tools and technologies to help them succeed and grow in their businesses and with their clients. It’s a
conference for Planners, organized by Planners.
Showcasing at this conference will bring you face-to-face with your key target audience: decision-makers and
influencers in the procurement of accommodations, venues, professional services, and goods to enable their clients
to put on a great and successful event or conference.
If you want to connect face-to-face with up to 80+ buyers, then this is the showcase you need to attend!
New this year!
Planners and suppliers have been asking for more time to connect, we have listened and are offering a two-day
showcase.
You will have several opportunities to connect during morning and afternoon coffee breaks hosted in the trade
show area, lunch and after lunch program dedicated to the supplier showcase. The showcase will wrap up after
lunch on Saturday.
Schedule
Friday, March 4 from 9:30 to 15:30
Saturday, March 5 from 10:00 to 13:30

Chairman’s Rye Level - $500
Showcase Tabletop only
• Showcase your accommodations, venues, professional services, and/or goods during extended hours with
qualified planners
Chairman’s Maple Level - $750
Breakout or Workshop Host and a Showcase Tabletop
• Get more visibility by being a breakout or workshop host and introducing one of the breakout or workshop
speakers (up to 3 minutes of podium time – no video option). Choice of breakout or workshop at the discretion
of the showcase chair
Chairman’s Sherry Level - $1,000
Session Host and a Showcase Tabletop
• Get even more visibility by being a main session host and introducing one of our session speakers (5 minutes
of podium time to address the audience – can also showcase a video). Choice of session at the discretion of the
showcase chair
Please Note: A full conference registration is NOT required to participate in the showcase.
Should you wish to participate in the educational sessions and other networking opportunities, you must register
for the conference. See our program for excellent educational sessions for both our partners and planners. We
are offering a special conference rate for partners who also wish to participate in the showcase.

Full Payment is due with signed contract.
Upon signing of this agreement, you agree to participate as a CanSPEP Conference 2016 sponsor as indicated in the contract. In the event a cancellation is made after signing this contract, you will still be responsible for 50% of the total agreed cost.
Cancellations are not accepted after December 11, 2015.
